    摘要: An apparatus for positioning a vehicle includes an alignment sensor that has a field of view and a vehicle alignment system operatively connected to the alignment sensor and to at least one positioning system of the vehicle. Movement of the vehicle varies an appearance of a fiducial surface within the alignment sensor's field of view. The vehicle alignment system is configured to implement a method that includes monitoring the appearance of the fiducial surface to the alignment sensor, comparing the appearance of the fiducial surface to a pre-determined set of benchmark appearances, and operating the at least one positioning system based on a determination by the vehicle alignment system of whether the appearance of the fiducial surface to the alignment sensor satisfies a pre-determined target appearance that corresponds to a desired location and position of the vehicle relative to a fixed location.

    摘要: A multi-energy storage device system includes an electric drive coupled to a load, a DC link coupled to the electric drive, and a bi-directional voltage converter having an output channel coupled to the DC link and an input channel. A first energy storage device (ESD) is coupled to the input channel, and a switch is coupled to the DC link and to a second ESD. A system controller causes the switch to couple the second ESD to the DC link for delivering energy stored in the second ESD to the electric drive. The system controller also causes the voltage converter to convert a voltage of the first ESD to a higher voltage and to deliver the higher voltage to the DC link, wherein the higher voltage is greater than the voltage of the second ESD and causes the switch to decouple the second ESD from the DC link.

    摘要: A system for generating hazard alerts is provided. The system includes a sensor unit including a plurality of sensors and a locating device and a hazard analyzing (HA) computing device configured to communicate with the sensor unit. The HA computing device includes a memory device and a processor configured to receive, from the plurality of sensors, a plurality of sensor measurements, receive, from the locating device, a plurality of sensor locations, determine, based on the received locations, a location of the sensor unit during each sensor measurement of the plurality of sensor measurements, compute, based on at least one of the plurality of sensor measurements and the determined locations, a plurality of sub-risk scores, compute a risk score based on the sub-risk scores, and determine that a first alert condition is present in response to the risk score being greater than a threshold risk score.
