摘要: Vehicles and related systems and methods are provided for assisting vehicle operation. A detection service obtains a current object location derived from one or more sensors onboard a vehicle, determines a current deviation metric associated with the current object location based on a relationship between the current object location and a preceding object location derived from the one or more sensors, and classifies the current object location into one of a plurality of different classifications based on the current deviation metric value, where a primary subset of object locations has respective values for the deviation metric that are less than a threshold. The detection service monitors a predicted path associated with the vehicle with at least the most recent object location of the primary subset to generate an alert in response to a predicted intersection with the predicted path.

The method includes receiving, by a tire leak detection system, sensor data from one or more tires. The method further includes determining, by the tire leak detection system, an occurrence of a leak anomaly in at least one of the one or more tires based on the sensor data. The method further includes predicting, by the tire leak detection system, a time and/or distance the at least one of the one or more tires will function ineffectively. In one example implementation, a method includes receiving, by a processing device, temperature data, pressure data, tire characteristics, and an estimated leak rate associated with the tire. The method further includes calculating, by the processing device, a temperature normalized fused pressure after fusing the temperature data and the pressure data. The method further includes determining, by the processing device, the tire leak rate based at least in part on a decay of the temperature normalized fused pressure over time. The method further includes providing, by the processing device, an alert to an operator of the vehicle that a leak is detected based at least in part on a comparison between the tire leak rate and a leak rate threshold.

摘要: A monocular camera system for a vehicle includes a front mono camera, a side mono camera, and one or more controllers in electronic communication with the front mono camera and the side mono camera. The one or more controllers execute instructions to determine an ideal lagged distance the vehicle travels between a current time step and a previous time step as two asynchronous camera frames are captured by the front mono camera and the side mono camera, determine a number of delayed frames captured by either the front mono camera or the side mono camera between the current time step and the previous time step based on the ideal lagged distance. The controllers determine a direction of travel of the vehicle that indicates which mono camera is selected to provide a previous camera frame captured at the previous time step.

摘要: Methods and systems are provided for estimating weight-related parameter values of a vehicle. The system includes a sensor system, a display device, and a controller configured to, by a processor, receive, from the sensor system, static sensor data sensed while the vehicle is stationary and coupled to a trailer and dynamic sensor data while the vehicle is being driven and not coupled to the trailer, wherein the static sensor data includes a deflection value associated with a suspension system of the vehicle, estimate, while the vehicle is stationary, one or more weight-related parameter values using a suspension model and the static sensor data, determine degradation of the suspension system over time using a suspension sag estimation model and the dynamic sensor data, update the suspension model to accommodate for the degradation of the suspension system, and display the one or more weight-related parameter values on the visual display.
