    Abstract: A method for producing high resolution virtual wheel speed sensor data includes simultaneously collecting wheel speed sensor (WSS) data from multiple wheel speed sensors each sensing rotation of one of multiple wheels of an automobile vehicle. A camera image is generated of a vehicle environment from at least one camera mounted in the automobile vehicle. An optical flow program is applied to discretize the camera image in pixels. Multiple distance intervals are overlayed onto the discretized camera image each representing a vehicle distance traveled defining a resolution of each of the multiple wheel speed sensors. A probability distribution function is created predicting a distance traveled for a next WSS output.

    Abstract: A system for monitoring parameters of a vehicle wheel assembly includes a wheel speed sensor configured to produce a wheel speed signal, and a wheel assembly monitoring module operatively connected to the wheel speed sensor. The wheel assembly monitoring module determines a dynamic response of the wheel speed signal at one or more wheel speeds. A wheel assembly health module provides one of a visual output, an audible output, and a haptic output indicating that the wheel assembly has exceeded a selected wheel assembly parameter threshold based on the dynamic response of the wheel speed signal.

    Abstract: A system for providing information to an occupant of a vehicle includes a global navigation satellite system (GNSS), a vehicle communication system, a display system configured to provide information to the occupant of the vehicle, and a vehicle controller in electrical communication with the GNSS, the vehicle communication system, and the display system. The vehicle controller is programmed to determine a location of the vehicle using the GNSS. The vehicle controller is further programmed to transmit the location of the vehicle to a remote server system using the vehicle communication system. The vehicle controller is further programmed to display a graphic using the display system. The graphic is received from the remote server system. The vehicle controller is further programmed to transmit an engagement metric of the graphic to the remote server system using the vehicle communication system.

    Abstract: Examples of techniques for determining tire leak rate are disclosed. In one example implementation, a method includes receiving, by a processing device, temperature data, pressure data, tire characteristics, and an estimated leak rate associated with the tire. The method further includes calculating, by the processing device, a temperature normalized fused pressure after fusing the temperature data and the pressure data. The method further includes determining, by the processing device, the tire leak rate based at least in part on a decay of the temperature normalized fused pressure over time. The method further includes providing, by the processing device, an alert to an operator of the vehicle that a leak is detected based at least in part on a comparison between the tire leak rate and a leak rate threshold.

    Abstract: A method of occupant profiling for seamless experience and actionable insights. The method includes receiving occupant data about an occupant of a host vehicle, generating a knowledge graph based on the occupant data using automotive ontology, querying the knowledge graph to generate an occupant profile comprising the wants and the needs of the occupant of the host vehicle, communicating the occupant profile to a target vehicle, comparing features of a target vehicle to features of the host vehicle to determine a compatible feature, and configuring the at least one compatible feature of the target vehicle based on the occupant profile. The compatible feature is a vehicle feature present in both the target vehicle and the host vehicle. The occupant data includes meta-data about the occupant of the host vehicle, customer-facing features of the host vehicle, and interaction data between the occupant and the customer-facing features of the host vehicle.
