    摘要: An active road-noise control system and method include using a sensor arrangement to generate a first sense signal representative of at least one acceleration, motion and/or vibration that occurs at a first position on a vehicle body and a second sense signal representative of sound that occurs at a second position within the vehicle body; they also provide a noise-reducing signal by processing the sense signals according to a first or a second mode of operation. They include the generation of noise-reducing sound within the vehicle body at the second position from the noise reducing signal and the operational state of the sensor arrangement; the first sense signal and the second sense signal are processed in the first mode when the sensor arrangement is in a proper operational state and in the second mode when a malfunction of the sensor arrangement has been detected.

    摘要: A system for controlling noise in a fenestration assembly (e.g., a window) includes a fenestration assembly with at least one glazing and a frame. The at least one glazing has a surface. At least one sensor is coupled to the at least one glazing and is configured to generate noise detection signals. An actuator is positioned on the surface of the at least one glazing and has a plurality of regions. A controller is coupled to the sensor and the actuator and is configured to control each of the regions of the actuator to generate a different frequency based on the noise detection signals. Alternatively, each of the regions may be controlled to generate a frequency with a different phase shift based on the noise detection signals.

    摘要: A central noise reduction loudspeaker includes a speaker unit, a top cap, a seat body, and a microphone. The speaker unit includes a diaphragm, and the diaphragm includes a central through hole located at center of the diaphragm. The top cap covers the seat body, and the speaker unit is disposed between the top cap and the seat body. The top cap includes a central fixed frame penetrating the central through hole of the diaphragm. The microphone is disposed within the central fixed frame and located in the central through hole. Since the microphone is disposed in central through hole, compared to conventional, the front cavity and the overall size of the loudspeaker or earphone can be reduced and the production process can be simplified.

    摘要: In order to enable noises entering the ear from random directions to be muted without wearing headphones, this muting device is provided with: a super-directional microphone that detects noises in spot areas around the ear at pinpoints; and an ultrasonic speaker that modulates and outputs a carrier signal supplied by a transmitter according to noise signals detected by the super-directional microphone. Furthermore, an adaptive filter is provided, and the adaptive filter supplies noise signals with the opposite phase to noises detected by the super-direction microphone, and transmits an ultrasonic signal from the ultrasonic speaker toward the eardrum of a human.

    摘要: The suppression device for outdoor noises in indoor space solves the technical problems on realizing better sound insulation effect within the room space and creating a quiet atmosphere for people's living environment. The structure includes an anti-noise sound source synchronized to and invert with outdoor noises. The circuit structure of suppression device includes a directional reception and processing circuit for outdoor noises, a attenuation control circuit, a multi-channel digital amplifier circuit, and loudspeaker being installed at the inlet of indoor noises. The directional reception and processing circuit for outdoor noises processes the noise signals collected from the outdoor environment and generates the inverted-phase signals, and then transmits them to the input terminal of attenuation control circuit. After being processed with attenuation by attenuation control circuit, the reverse-phase signals are sent out to input terminal of multi-channel digital amplifier circuit, which then enables the loudspeaker to generate noise compensation signals inverted to outdoor noises. This invention can provide the whole system with noise suppression capability over 28 dB.

    摘要: A personal audio device, such as a wireless telephone, includes an adaptive noise canceling (ANC) circuit that adaptively generates an anti-noise signal from a reference microphone signal and injects the anti-noise signal into the speaker or other transducer output to cause cancellation of ambient audio sounds. An error microphone is also provided proximate the speaker to measure the ambient sounds and transducer output near the transducer, thus providing an indication of the effectiveness of the noise canceling. A processing circuit uses the reference and/or error microphone, optionally along with a microphone provided for capturing near-end speech, to determine whether the ANC circuit is incorrectly adapting or may incorrectly adapt to the instant acoustic environment and/or whether the anti-noise signal may be incorrect and/or disruptive and then take action in the processing circuit to prevent or remedy such conditions.
