    摘要: A contact layer having a low resistance in an LED is extended from an inside edge of a light take-out region in a light emitting dot to a central position thereof, whereby an input current in the light take-out region expands, while an electrode is extended from an inside edge of the light take-out region to the center of the light take-out region so as to shape like substantially a letter T with a length which is not over the center, whereby increase in an electrode covering ratio in the light take-out region can be suppressed. As a result, a uniform light output in the light take-out region can be attained, so that a light output can be remarkably improved. When electrodes in the light take-out regions in adjacent light emitting dots are staggered relative to the direction perpendicular to an aligned direction of the light take-out region (a reference straight line), the light take-out regions are arranged horizontally in substantially a straight line, so that a light emitting pattern in the aligned direction of the light take-out regions are not so staggered. Thus, an LED array having a high output and a uniform distribution of light intensity is provided.

    摘要: An image forming apparatus has an exchangeable process cartridge which transfers a toner image from a latent image carrier onto a sheet.     摘要: An apparatus for inspecting characteristics of semiconductor chips has a loading device for loading semiconductor chips onto a testing tray positioned by a servo motor, a CCD camera, an upper contact fixture controlled in X, Y, and .THETA. directions, and a lower contacting fixture driven by a cylinder. Positioning of the contact probe pins is accurately achieved by pattern processing and fully automated inspection is made possible. The apparatus is equipped with the same number of contact probe pins as the number of inspection points of a semiconductor chip; hence, all the cells of a semiconductor chip can be inspected as a unit. Therefore, the inspection can be made in a mode similar to practical conditions that occur after final assembly of the semiconductor chip.

    摘要: Disclosed is an image forming apparatus in which separation unit for electrostatically separating a sheet from a latent image carrier is provided on an openable and closable frame. This image forming apparatus comprises a feeding path for feeding a sheet on which an image is to be formed; an endless latent image carrier; image forming unit for forming a toner image on the latent image carrier; transfer unit for transferring the toner image on the latent image carrier onto the sheet that is conveyed in the feeding path; separation unit for supplying electric charges of an opposite polarity to that of electric charges on a back of the sheet to the back of the sheet in the feeding path at a position downstream of the transfer unit, thereby separating the sheet from the latent image carrier; an openable and closable frame on which at least the separation unit is movably provided and which is to be opened to free the feeding path; a main body frame on which at least the latent image carrier is provided; and a positioning member, provided on the main body frame, for positionin the separation unit by engagement with the separation unit when the frame is closed. With this structure, even when the frame is open or closed, the precision of the position of the separation unit with respect to the latent image carrier can be improved, thus ensuring stable sheet separation.
