    摘要： The travelling piecer is constructed to accomodate piecing of a thread which is broken during winding onto a thread package or to accomodate starting of a fresh package on a bobbin. The piecer includes a suction nozzle to find a broken yarn end from a package, a centering mechanism for positioning the located yarn in a predetermined position and a threading device for forming the located yarn into a loop.A carrier for an auxiliary yarn package is also provided with a roller pair for feeding a yarn from a package and a second suction nozzle for manipulating the auxiliary yarn into a predetermined position extending from the first nozzle for interception by the centering mechanism.

    摘要： Concentrated masterbatches of fabric softeners consisting substantially of(a) from 20 to 70, weight % of one or more compounds of the formulae I to III, ##STR1## in which R.sub.1 is alkyl or alkenyl having from 8 to 22, carbon atoms, R.sub.2 is alkyl having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms, R.sub.3 is methyl or hydrogen, x is a number of from 1 to 5 and A is an anion(b) from 20 to 60, weight % of a paraffin, a fatty alcohol, a fatty acid, a fatty acid-C.sub.1 -C.sub.13 -alkyl ester, each having from 8 to 22, carbon atoms, a polyethyleneglycol having a molecular weight of from 200 to 600, an alkyl ester having from 8 to 22, carbon atoms of a polyethyleneglycol having a molecular weight of from 200 to 600 or a polypropyleneglycol having a molecular weight of from 200 to 1,000 or mixtures thereof,(c) from 5 to 25 weight % of an amino-oxethylate of the formula ##STR2## in which R.sub.1 is alkyl or alkenyl having from 8 to 22, carbon atoms, x and y are hydrogen or methyl, with the proviso that x and y are not simultaneously methyl, n is an integer of from 2 to 40, preferably 10, p is a number of from zero to 1 and m is a number of from zero to 3, with the provisio that in case of p being 1 m is preferably 3,and water up to 100%.

    摘要： To prevent splatter of oil from a traverse spiral drum upon rapid rotation of the drum in high-speed spooling machines, an oil retention plate is provided extending parallel to the axis of the drum and having an oil wiping edge engaging the surface thereof, the drum being located in advance -- with respect to rotation of the drum -- of the position of the slider block engaged in a spiral groove of the rotating drum to provide for the traverse movement, the plate being of sufficient width to block spray of oil centrifugally thrown off the surface of the drum upon rotation thereof, a bead of oil being formed at the engagement edge of the drum and the plate, the bead penetrating the spiral groove in the drum to provide, due to the rotation of the drum, lubrication of the lateral surfaces of the groove and hence lubrication for the slider block while preventing contact of lubricating oil with the yarn being spooled.

    摘要： The starting or re-piecing of a yarn in an open end spinning machine is accomplished during full speed rotation of the spinning unit. A travelling piecer provides a fixed length of yarn to be back-fed into the spinning unit. A control which is responsive to the speed of rotation of the spinning unit causes the nip rolls to close together in order to deliver the new yarn from the spinning unit at the operating speed of the spinning unit.
