    摘要: A process for the manufacture of a plate, sheet or film made of an impact-resistant polymer having thereon a scratch-resistant flexible coating of transparent polyurethane is described comprising the steps of:(i) applying a first reaction mixture on the plate, sheet or film of impact-resistant polymer, said first reaction mixture comprising:(a) an isocynate component and(b) a polyol component, and(ii) applying a second reaction mixture onto said first layer before said first layer has completely hardened, said second reaction mixture comprising(c) a second isocynate component, and(d) a second polyol component.The first reaction mixture has a composition which guarantees good adhesion to the plate, sheet or film whereas the second reaction mixture exhibits excellent scratch resistance.

    摘要: A high optical quality polyurethane coating layer, with self-repairing and fog-resistant properties, utilized for panes made of glass and/or plastic materials. The layer is formed from a reactive mixture composed 10 to 75% by weight of a biuret or an isocyanurate of 1,6 hexamethylenediisocyanate, having a content of about 15 to 25% weight of NCO radicals and having an average molecular weight between about 450 and 850 and comprised about 90 to 25% by weight of a polyalcohol component essentially comprised of a plurifunctional polyalcohol having about 0.4 to 17% of its percentage weight comprised of OH radicals, and having a molecular weight between about 200 and 15,000, and having ethoxy-propoxy chains, comprised 50 to 90% by weight of ethoxy radicals and 50 to 10% by weight of propoxy radicals.

    摘要: An anti-fire glazing composed of two sheets of glass maintained separated by a sealed intermediate peripheral frame, between which an aqueous solution containing a dissolved salt and a gelling agent has been placed. After filling, the solution is transformed into an aqueous gel, the aqueous phase of which contains the salt in solution, and the solid phase of which is a polymer. The gelling polymer is a cross-linked polyvinyl alcohol. A dialdehyde is used as the cross-linking agent.

    摘要: A glazing assembly for protecting against fire exhibits at least two panes adhesively bonded together via a spacer and a water-comprising intermediate layer which fills the intermediate space between the panes. The spacer is composed of a string, applied by extrusion over the peripheral region of a pane, made of a butyl polymer obtained from 40 to 65% by weight of polyisobutylene, from 10 to 25% by weight of carbon black and from 10 to 40% by weight of filler. Within these ranges, the composition is chosen so that the butyl polymer exhibits, at a temperature of 80° C., a transverse or shear modulus of elasticity of G* of 1.2 to 2.2 MPa.
