摘要： An electronic circuit for control of a stepping motor (11), and in particular for damping the oscillations of the rotor thereof, comprises a digital-analog circuit (14) which, using a signal proportional to the angular speed of the rotor, which is taken off on one of the windings of the motor (11), provides a signal (SMR) to the control circuit (12) supplying the windings, so as to modulate the current in the other windings during the phase of stopping the motor in the desired position. This phase is selected by a signal (ATT) from a controlling unit (13) and the modulation is of such a sense as substantially to cancel the undesired oscillations. The circuit may be applied for example to motors for positioning typing elements in office printing or typing machines.

摘要： The invention is used in a disk drive and comprises a feedforward circuit connected between the head position circuit and the speed control loop circuit. The feedforward circuit precompensates the speed control loop for changes in rotation drag due to movements in the head of a disk drive. The feedforward circuit may include one or more deadband amplifiers and may include filter circuit. The invention disclose the method for controlling the speed of a spindle motor in a disk drive which includes the step of precompensating the speed control loop circuit with a processed head positioning signal.

A controller unit is coupled to the communication channel and configured to at least one of send and receive information via the communication channel. A load control device is coupled to the communication channel, comprising a disconnect switch configured to be coupled to a power line. The load control device is further configured to determine a power consumption of a load connected to the power line. The load control device provides measurement data representing the determined power consumption via the communication channel to the controller unit. The load control device drives the disconnect switch depending on drive information received via the communication channel or depending on the determined power consumption.
