摘要: Composition for biomaterial for resorption/substitution of support tissues, dental tissues, bone tissues and osteoarticular tissues, which is made up of 40 to 75% by weight of a mineral phase comprising either a mixture of .beta. tricalcium phosphate (A) and hydroxyapatite (B), in a ratio A:B of between 20:80 and 70:30, or calcium titanium phosphate (Ca(Ti).sub.4 (PO.sub.4).sub.6) (C), and 60 to 25% by weight of a liquid phase comprising an aqueous solution of a polymer derived from cellulose. The mineral phase is a powder with a particle size 80 to 200 .mu.m in diameter. Preferably, the liquid phase is hydroxypropyl cellulose, and the concentration of the polymer in the liquid phase is from 0.5 to 4% by weight. The composition is prepared by mixing the mineral phase and the polymer of the liquid phase in an aqueous solution of defined viscosity, and sterilizing the liquid composition thus obtained.

摘要: The coating for a prothesis system has a resorbability gradient in the direction perpendicular to the surface of the prothesis system, the internal layer being the least resorbable. It can consist of phospho-calcium material or of two or several successive layers having different resorbabilities and having said resorbability gradient. The prothesis systems covered with the coating according to the invention are used in surgery for the provision of thigh-bone protheses as well as protheses for the facial, ear, nose and throat surgery and the like.

摘要: A spinal internal implantation device for osteosynthesis has one or more bars for supporting for moving the spine and at least one implant for connecting the bars and vertebrae. The implant includes a blown anchor attached to a body of the implant and a fixation arrangement for the bars. The fixation arrangement includes a clamp for clamping the bar against internal walls of a channel formed in the body of the implant. At least part of the length of the bars includes a transversal bearing structure that is a cross-section of the bars having at least one flat part of a part having a lower forepost convexity than the rest of the cross section.

摘要: An intervertebral disc prosthesis designed to be substituted for fibrocartilaginous discs ensures a connection between the vertebra of the vertebra column or the end of the latter. The prosthesis includes a pair of plates spaced from each other by a nucleus. The prosthesis has increased stability by providing the nucleus with a translation or rotation stop, or by inducing an angular correction between its plates contacting vertebra, or a combination of these characteristics. The stop includes pales external to the nucleus and contact surfaces perpendicular to their contact directions. Surgical methods and instrumentation for implanting the prosthesis are also described.
