Abstract: A therapy devise system includes therapy device with a sensor capable of detecting signals, a control system capable of processing the signals to determine a therapy protocol, and a user interface for assessing and updating the therapy protocol. The control system including a sensor is operable to receive a signal from the server, operable to process the signal to update the therapy device with a new therapy operation protocol. The user interface is operable to display more than one therapy operation protocol and includes a prompt for a user to update the therapy device with the new therapy operation protocol.

The main housing includes a reader that controls communication between the antennae. The main housing of the apparatus also has a pivotable hose support plate, a firmware upgrade port underneath part of the top wall of the housing, and a graphical user interface (GUI) that displays various user inputs for control of the apparatus and that displays various alert conditions that are detected.

Abstract: An apparatus for applying positive pressure nebulized liquid to a patient includes a funneled T-connector having a funnel with a first opening of a first diameter, a second opening of a second diameter smaller than the first diameter, and a funnel wall extending between the first and second openings. The funneled T-connector further has a cylindrical nebulizer port that extends outwardly from the funnel wall. A nebulizer cup assembly includes a nebulizer cup to contain liquid and a nebulizer cap to removably attach to a top region of the nebulizer cup. The nebulizer cap has a cylindrical nebulizer outlet sized to removably attach to the cylindrical nebulizer port. The cylindrical nebulizer outlet extends upwardly through the nebulizer passage, beyond the cylindrical nebulizer port, and into the internal funnel space such that a top edge of the cylindrical nebulizer outlet is located within the internal funnel space.

Abstract: A high-flow respiratory therapy system includes a blender arranged to receive a first gas and a second gas and to output a combination thereof as a delivered gas to a patient respiratory interface, an airflow source for providing a flow of air to the blender as the first gas, a valve operable to provide oxygen gas from an oxygen gas source to the blender as the second gas, a heater operable to heat the delivered gas at the patient respiratory interface, a pulse oximeter, and a controller configured to execute a learning procedure in response to a trigger. The learning procedure may include varying a parameter of the airflow source, a parameter of the valve, and a parameter of the heater and determining a recommended parameter based on one or more measurements of the pulse oximeter. The controller may output a recommendation to adjust the recommended parameter.
