    Abstract: A PLC control method includes: transmit a first signal through a neutral wire and a path between the neutral wire and a differential signal processing circuit; transmit a second signal through a live wire and a path between the live wire and the differential signal processing circuit; and disconnecting the path between the differential signal processing circuit and the neutral wire or the live wire, conducting the differential signal processing circuit to a ground wire, and when a transmission rate of the ground wire is greater than or equal to a preset transmission rate threshold, transmitting the first signal or the second signal through the ground wire and a path between the ground wire and the differential signal processing circuit.

    Abstract: An uplink signal scheduling method, a processing device, and a system. The method includes when uplink signals sent by at least one transmit device are received, preprocessing the uplink signals, to generate a data over cable service interface specification (DOCSIS) frame, where the DOCSIS frame includes at least two uplink signals, and each uplink signal of the at least two uplink signals corresponds to one uplink wavelength, and when it is detected that a signal conflict exists in the DOCSIS frame, creating at least two signal groups according to the uplink signals, and allocating, to the at least two signal groups, uplink signals that have a same uplink wavelength and cause the signal conflict, and performing scheduling on the uplink signals according to the signal groups that have undergone allocation.

    Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide an encoding method and apparatus, to improve an encoding gain in an RCM. The method includes: performing bit mapping on krv1 information source bits whose reliability is lower than a first threshold in a first bit sequence, to obtain a second bit sequence, where the first bit sequence is a bit sequence obtained by performing bit mapping after cyclic redundancy check CRC bits are added to an information source bit sequence, the krv1 information source bits are bits in the information source bit sequence, and a length of the first bit sequence is equal to a length of the second bit sequence; performing an exclusive OR operation on bits in a bit sequence obtained by encoding the first bit sequence and bits in a bit sequence obtained by encoding the second bit sequence, to obtain a third bit sequence; or encoding the second bit sequence, to obtain a third bit sequence; and mapping, to an orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing OFDM symbol, the third bit sequence and the bit sequence obtained by encoding the first bit sequence.

    Abstract: This application provides a power line communication method. Wherein, a first node determines a channel status of a channel between a second node and the first node in an alternating current cycle. Then, the first node may divide the alternating current cycle into time windows based on the channel status, and determine modulation coding parameters used for data transmission between the second node and the first node in the time window obtained through division. Further, the first node may send information about the time window obtained through division and the modulation coding parameters used in the time window obtained through division to the second node.
