摘要: A united converter apparatus and an operating method thereof are disclosed. The united converter apparatus includes a high-voltage charger charging a high-voltage battery, using a commercial power and a low-voltage charger charging a low-voltage battery, using the high-voltage battery. The high-voltage charger includes a voltage level adjustment device boosts a voltage of the commercial power to apply the boosted voltage to the high-voltage battery and drops a high voltage applied from the high-voltage battery to apply the dropped voltage to the low-voltage charger.

摘要: Disclosed is a power factor correction circuit including a plurality of legs connected in parallel and each including two switching devices connected in series, a plurality of inductors each having one terminal connected to an interconnection node of the two switching devices in a corresponding one of the legs, and a controller configured to control on/off states of the switching devices in a pulse width modulation manner such that each of the inductors is built up twice or more in one switching period of the switching devices when an alternating current (AC) voltage is input to the other terminal of each of the inductors.

The inductor includes a core having a central core around which a wire is wound, a front core and a rear core that are attached integrally to a front and a rear of the central core, respectively, and a left core and a right core that are spaced from both sides of the central core and are attached integrally to the front core and the rear core. Additionally, a wire is wound around the central core in a length direction thereof.

摘要: A method and apparatus for controlling an on-board charger (OBC) are provided. The method includes monitoring a voltage of an input power source, increasing or decreasing the voltage of the input power source to a preset output voltage of a power factor corrector (PFC), and operating a converter receiving the preset output voltage to adjust a switching frequency of the converter based on a ripple current of an output terminal of the converter. Additionally, the converter includes a first switch configured to receive a first voltage of a first capacitor mounted within the PFC and a second switch configured to receive a second voltage of a second capacitor mounted within the PFC.

摘要: A trans inductor having a powdery magnetic substance and a power converter using the trans inductor are provided. The trans inductor and the power converter reduce peak current flowing in an inverter power module (IGBT), improve inverter efficiency, reduce output RMS current (output effective current) and reduce capacitor consumption by applying a material with properties that are resistant against current saturation instead of a core material of a conventional trans inductor employed in a power converter. Accordingly, an inductance decreasing rate due to core saturation when high current is generated is improved and current flowing in a switch device is prevented from being abruptly increased.
