    摘要: A process for the separation of 1,4-butanediol from mixtures obtained by the catalytic hydrogenation of maleates, fumarates, and/or succinates, which also contain tetrahydrofuran, water, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alcohols, succinic diesters, hydroxybutyrates, alkylhydroxyalkyl succinates, gamma-butyrolactone and butyrates, in addition to 1,4-butanediol, comprising the following steps:a) separating, in a first column having an actual number of plates of from 20 to 70 and operated at a top pressure of from 50 to 1100 mbar and preferably from 50 to 500 mbar and a top temperature of from 40.degree. to 120.degree. C., alcohol, water and tetrahydrofuran, as overhead product,b) feeding the bottom product of the first column into a second column having an actual number of plates of from 30 to 90 and withdrawing the overhead product consisting of alcohol and butyrate and obtained at a top pressure of from 45 to 250 mbar and a top temperature of from 45.degree. to 120.degree. C., and withdrawing gamma-butyrolactone and butyrates through a side outlet, and feeding the bottom product to a phase separator,c) feeding the 1,4-butanediol-enriched bottom phase of the liquid two-phase mixture coming from the phase separator to a third column having an actual number of plates of from 30 to 90, alcohol being distilled off as overhead product at a top pressure of from 45 to 250 mbar and a top temperature of from 45.degree. to 120.degree. C., and the azeotrope comprising 1,4 -butanediol and succinic diester is withdrawn as a sidestream and recycled to the phase separator, whilst 1,4-butanediol is removed together with alkyl-hydroxyalkyl succinate, butyl hydroxybutyrate, and high-boiling fractions as bottoms, andd) separating the succinate-enriched top phase in the phase separator.

    摘要: A process for the preparation of 1,4-butanediol by catalytically hydrogenating maleic anhydride in the presence of an alcohol, at elevated temperature and elevated pressure and with the aid of a cobalt-containing catalyst comprises partially hydrogenating the reaction mixture in a first hydrogenation step at from 100.degree. to 200.degree. C. and at from 30 to 200 bar and subsequently post-hydrogenating the product of this first hydrogenation step, without further work-up at higher temperature and pressure than in the first hydrogenation step, in a second hydrogenation step at from 200.degree. to 300.degree. C. and at from 200 to 350 bar.

    摘要: A process is proposed for partial oxidation oxidation in the gas phase of C3 and/or C4 precursor compounds to (meth)acrolein and/or (meth)acrylic acid in the presence of a heterogeneous particulate catalyst in a reactor having one or more cuboidal thermoplate modules (1) which are each formed from two or more rectangular thermoplates (2) arranged parallel to each other while in each case leaving a gap (3) which can be filled with the heterogeneous particulate catalyst and is flowed through by the fluid reaction mixture; the heat of reaction being absorbed by a heat carrier which flows through the thermoplates (2) and thus at least partly evaporating, and also having a predominantly cylindrical shell (4, 15, 16) which releases the pressure at the thermoplate modules, completely surrounds them and comprises a cylinder jacket (4) and hoods (15, 16) which seal it at both ends and whose longitudinal axis is aligned parallel to the plane of the thermoplates (2), and also having one or more sealing elements (7, 23) which are arranged in such a way that the fluid reaction mixture, apart from flowing through the reactor interior spaces bounded by the hoods (15, 16), only flows through the gap (3).
