    摘要: An array substrate includes a gate line, a data line, a switching device, a transmissive electrode, a reflective electrode and a compensating wiring. A pixel region includes first and second regions. The switching device is connected to the gate line and the data line. The transmissive electrode is connected to the switching device. The transmissive electrode is formed in the first region. The reflective electrode is insulated from the transmissive electrode. The reflective electrode is formed in the second region that is adjacent to the first region. The compensating wiring is connected to the switching device. The compensating wiring faces the reflective electrode in the second region with an insulation layer interposed therebetween. Thus, both of a reflectivity of the reflective electrode and a transmissivity of the transmissive electrode are enhanced simultaneously, while the liquid crystal display apparatus maintains a uniform cell gap.

    摘要: A gray scale voltage generator and a method of generating a gray scale voltage in a transmissive and reflective type liquid crystal display device are disclosed. A transmissive mode gray scale data are transformed into real reflective mode gray scale data. An integer part is extracted from the real reflective mode gray scale data as a first reflective mode gray scale data. The first reflective mode gray scale data and temporary reflective mode gray scale data are mixed in a predetermined ratio by N-frame period. The temporary reflective mode gray scale data has a sum of one and the first reflective mode gray scale data. Pseudo gray scale data are inserted into the second reflective mode gray scale data. Therefore, superior display quality is provided in both transmissive and reflective mode.

    摘要: A gray scale voltage generator and a method of generating a gray scale voltage in a transmissive and reflective type liquid crystal display device are disclosed. A transmissive mode gray scale data are transformed into real reflective mode gray scale data.     摘要: A liquid crystal display panel is capable of implementing high resolution without reducing an aperture ratio. A liquid crystal display panel includes: a substrate; a sustain electrode at a pixel region on the substrate; opaque wires positioned around the pixel region, having a lattice form extending in a first direction and a second direction crossing the first direction, and coupled with the sustain electrode; a gate wire and a data wire insulated from the gate wire with a second insulating layer interposed therebetween and extending in the second direction; a thin film transistor coupled with the gate wire and the data wire; and a pixel electrode coupled with the thin film transistor. The sustain electrode includes a transparent conductive material, and the opaque wires includes a conductive material having an electrical resistance lower than that of the transparent conductive material.
