摘要： An isocyanate-reactive composition comprising the reaction product of:a) an organic compound having the formula:Q--[X--COY].sub.norQ--[X--CO--R--(COY).sub.m ].sub.n wherein Q represents an organic residue, X-represents oxygen or sulphur, Y represents a halogen atom or an aryloxy group, R is a polyvalent hydrocarbon radical, m is a whole number from 1 to 3 and n is a whole number of at least 2, andb) a polyfunctional compound which is capable of reacting with reactant (a) and contains at least one imino or enamino group.

摘要： A method of making a reaction injection moulded elastomer which includes injecting into a mould cavity a reaction mixture including:(A) an organic polyisocyanate, and(B) an isocyanate-reactive composition comprising the reaction product of:(a) the reaction product of a polyol or polythiol having an average hydroxyl or thiol functionality of from about 1.5 to about 6 and an average molecular weight of from about 100 to about 12,000 and an acylating agent, and(b) a polyfunctional compound which is capable of reacting with reactant (a) to provide a product containing a plurality of isocyanate-reactive groups.

摘要： An isocyanate-reactive polymer comprising the reaction product of: (a) an isocyanate-terminated polyurethane prepolymer formed by reacting a polymeric polyol having a hydroxyl equivalent weight of at least 500 with a stoichiometric excess of an organic polyisocyanate, and (b) a stoichiometric excess, relative to the free isocyanate groups present in the prepolymer, of an imino-functional or enamine containing compound having a molecular weight less than about 750. The polymer is useful in reaction injection molding systems as an isocyanate-reactive ingredient.

Control of foam properties is offered by selecting imino/enamino-functional groups which decompose with water at the temperature of the reaction to produce volatile gases.
