摘要: An example method for measuring deformability of a cell responsive to a pressure wave, consistent with the present disclosure, includes moving a cell of a sample into a cell probing chamber of a microfluidic device. While the cell is in the cell probing chamber, the method includes generating a pressure wave within the cell probing chamber by actuating a fluidic pump. The method further includes determining a deformability of the cell responsive to the pressure wave, using an imaging array synchronized with the actuation of the fluidic pump.

摘要: An example apparatus includes a well plate having an array of wells, a light encoding layer positioned under the well plate, an imaging layer to capture an image of the well plate encoded by the light encoding layer, an array of electrodes positioned on a surface of a bottom floor of the at least one well, and a controller. The light encoding layer is to encode light passing through a microscopic object in at least one well of the array of wells. The light encoding layer has a substantially flat form. The controller is to direct electrical voltage to the electrodes to generate a non-rotating, non-uniform electrical field, the electrical field being to rotate an object in the electrical field.

摘要: An example of an apparatus includes a plurality of wells, wherein each well is to receive a cell culture and a cell culture liquid. The apparatus also includes a collector to contact the cell culture liquid in a well selected from the plurality of wells. The collector is to draw a microfluidic sample of the cell culture liquid from the well. In addition, the apparatus includes a sensor substrate to receive the microfluidic sample, wherein the sensor substrate is to be used to measure a characteristic of the cell culture liquid. Also, the apparatus includes a microfluidic channel to transport the microfluidic sample from the collector to the sensor substrate.
