    摘要: A lithium ion secondary battery including: an electrode group including a belt-like positive electrode and a belt-like negative electrode that are wound with a separator interposed therebetween; and a can with a bottom for accommodating the electrode group, wherein the positive electrode has a positive electrode current collector and a positive electrode mixture layer carried on the positive electrode current collector, the negative electrode has a negative electrode current collector and a negative electrode mixture layer carried on the negative electrode current collector, and a porous heat-resistant layer is partially provided between the separator and at least one of the positive electrode mixture layer and the negative electrode mixture layer. Since a porous heat-resistant layer is thus placed, a high performance lithium ion secondary battery capable of efficiently preventing internal short circuit due to overheating while preventing decrease in battery characteristics can be provided.

    摘要: A lithium ion secondary battery includes an electrode assembly configured such that positive and negative plates are wound or stacked with a separator interposed therebetween. The positive plate is configured such that positive-electrode mixture layers are formed on both surfaces of a positive-electrode current collector. The negative plate is configured such that negative-electrode mixture layers are formed on both surfaces of a negative-electrode current collector. The positive-electrode mixture layers formed on the positive plate each have a larger porosity than the negative-electrode mixture layers formed on the negative plate. A more refractory porous layer 1 than the separator is formed between the negative plate and the separator. The porous layer is made of a material for retaining an electrolyte.

In the flat wound electrode body, a central portion has a more constricted shape than end portions by pressing toward a winding axis in a short-side direction and each end portion includes an end-portion positive electrode sheet, an end-portion negative electrode sheet, and end-portion separators, and a core member arranged more inward than them. With tensile forces generated by pressing of the central portion in a central-portion positive electrode sheet, central-portion negative electrode sheet, and central-portion separators, the end-portion positive electrode sheet, end-portion negative electrode sheet, and end-portion separators are in pressure contact with each other and press the outer surfaces of the core member.
