    摘要: A hydrogen tank is mounted on a roof so that a valve unit mounted to one end in a longitudinal direction of the hydrogen tank is separated as far apart as possible from a front platform and a middle platform of a fuel cell equipped bus and so that the longitudinal direction of the hydrogen tank is in a lateral direction of a vehicle. Thus, even if hydrogen leaks from the valve unit or a fusible plug valve of the valve unit is fused to discharge hydrogen from the tank, the influence of the leaking or discharged hydrogen on the front platform and the middle platform can be reduced.

    摘要: A bonding method includes bonding a pair of members together made of conductive material and having bonding surfaces which are not positioned on the same plane. In the bonding method, the bonding surfaces of the members to be bonded are positioned to face each other, an electric current is supplied from one of the members to be bonded to the other for carrying out resistance heating while the pair of members to be bonded are slid relative to each other. In this way, the bonding surfaces are bonded to each other. Split or partition surfaces that form a hollow passage and extending along the axis of the hollow passage are set as the bonding surfaces which are not on the same plane.

    摘要: A multi link type piston-crank mechanism comprises an upper link that has one end pivotally connected to a piston of the engine through a piston pin, a lower link that is pivotally connected to the other end of the upper link through an upper pin and rotatably disposed on a crank pin of a crankshaft of the engine; and a control link that has a base end part swingably held by a body of the engine and a leading end pivotally connected to the lower link through a control pin. An axis of the piston pin is offset relative to an axis of the piston in thrust and counter thrust directions. When the piston comes to BDC, a part of the piston takes a position below a lower edge of a corresponding cylinder of the engine and the upper pin is offset relative to the axis of the piston pin in the same direction as a pin offset direction in which the axis of the piston pin is offset in the thrust and counter thrust directions relative to the axis of the piston.

A controller controls the refresh operation so that an output voltage does not exceed an avoidance voltage even after the refresh operation. Specifically, the controller estimates the output voltage after the refresh operation from the output voltage before the refresh operation and controls execution of the refresh operation so that the estimated output voltage after the refresh operation does not exceed the avoidance voltage. For example, if before the refresh operation, when judging that the estimated output voltage after the refresh operation does not exceed the avoidance voltage, the controller executes the refresh operation.

    摘要: A lower link for an engine piston crank mechanism includes first and second half members joined by bolts to form a crankpin bearing portion. The first half member includes a first pin boss portion to connect the lower link with a first link which is one of an upper link connected with a piston and a control link having one end mounted swingably on the engine. The second half member includes a second pin boss portion to connect the lower link with a second link which is the other of the upper link and the control link, and an internally threaded portion into which one bolt is screwed. The second half member further includes a load transfer portion which is made greater in rigidity than the internally threaded portion.

A substantially entire area of a crown of the piston, defining a part of a wall surface of a combustion chamber, is formed of a non-metallic material having a higher heat-insulating and heat-reserving property as compared to a base structural material of each of the combustion chamber and the piston.

    摘要: There is provided a fuel cell system capable of warming up a fuel cell while inhibiting generation of a rush current. A control device switches the connection/disconnection between a fuel cell and a short circuit by a shorting relay. The control device spends, before switching the shorting relay from disconnection to connection during starting at a low temperature, an oxidizing gas remaining in the cathode of the fuel cell by driving auxiliary devices to generate an oxidizing gas-deficient state. Then, the control device switches FC relays from ON to OFF and the shorting relay from OFF to ON to thereby complete the preparation for supplying a short-circuit current.
