    摘要: A pneumatically operated screw driver ensuring a complete return of a piston to its top dead center. The screw driver has a compressed air return chamber for returning the piston to its top dead center by applying a compressed air in the return chamber to the piston. The piston includes a main piston and an auxiliary piston. The main piston is first reaches its bottom dead center, and then the auxiliary piston reaches its bottom dead center whereupon screw driving is terminated. Before the auxiliary piston reaches its bottom dead center, and after the main piston moves past a predetermined position, a compressed air is introduced into the return chamber. After the main piston reaches the bottom dead center, application of the compressed air pressure in the return chamber to the auxiliary piston is prevented.

    摘要: Disclosed is a process for producing a titanium dioxide pigment used for a resin-coated paper type photographic support, comprising the following steps:(a) a step of adding at least one alkaline earth metal compound in an amount of 0.01-2.0% by weight in terms of a metal oxide based on the titanium dioxide before calcination step and(b) an acid-washing step of washing the titanium dioxide at acidic state after the calcination step and before a step of surface treatment with a hydrated metal oxide,and wherein particle size of the titanium dioxide pigment is 0.110-0.150 .mu.m shown by number-average diameter obtained by measuring the diameter in a certain direction using an electron microscope. A photographic support which comprises the above titanium dioxide pigment is also disclosed. Occurrence of die lip stain and microgrit are substantially reduced in the photographic support and a photographic material made thereof exhibits improved image sharpness.

    摘要: A pneumatically operated screw driver driven by a compressed air to drive screws into a workpiece. A drive bit connecting portion is rotated in a right-hand direction by rotation of a pneumatic motor and is formed with a right-handed threaded hole. A drive bit is formed at one end with a right-handed male threaded screw and at the other end with an engagement tip that engages with screws that are to be screwed into the workpiece. The drive bit is engaged with the drive bit connecting portion through threading engagement of the right-handed threaded hole and the righted-handed male threaded screw. For detaching the drive bit from the drive bit connecting portion, a rotation prevention mechanism prevents free rotation of the drive bit connecting portion. In this state, the engagement tip of the drive bit is engaged with an external tool. By rotating the external tool in a counterclockwise direction while preventing the rotation of a main body of the screw driver, the drive bit is disengaged from the drive bit connecting portion.
