摘要： A stream recording apparatus includes a reception unit configured to receive a transport stream containing TS packets which include PCRs and PTSs, a first storage unit configured to store the transport stream, an analysis unit configured to analyze the PCRs and the PTSs, a counter configured to count a STC on the basis of one of the PCRs, a calculation unit configured to calculate a reproduction time corresponding to a PTS if the PTS is on a same time base with reference to a STC obtained upon reception of the TS packet having the PTS, and to stop calculating the reproduction time corresponding to the PTSs if the PTSs is on a different timebase, and a second storage unit configured to store the reproduction time in association with the one of the PTSs.

摘要： An edge map generator/edge weighting coefficient generator performs edge detection for respective blocks that compose a moving image frame Ft, and calculates correlations between the edges of the respective blocks and those of neighboring blocks as edge weighting coefficients. A predictive vector candidate determination unit calculates a plurality of motion vector candidates for each block based on this edge weighting coefficient. Of these candidates, a motion vector detector obtains a candidate with a small evaluation value based on prediction errors and motion vector cost as a motion vector, thereby generating an interpolation frame Ft−0.5.

摘要： The present invention provides a packet stream receiving apparatus, comprising a packet separation section that extracts a presentation time from a packet, a discontinuity detection section that detects a discontinuity of the packet, a storage buffer that stores decoded frames after the discontinuity has been detected, and a presentation time comparison section that calculates a number of lost frames based on the actual number of frames received from a discontinuity point in which the discontinuity was detected until the presentation time is obtained in the case where the storage buffer has stored the decoded frames. By accurately comprehending the number of lost frames caused by packet losses, outputs without timing mismatch are enabled.
