    摘要: The polyamide resin of the present invention is produced by polycondensation of a diamine component comprising 70 mol % or more of m-xylylenediamine and a dicarboxylic acid component comprising 70 mol % or more of a C4-C20 α, ω-straight-chain aliphatic dicarboxylic acid in the presence of at least one phosphorus compound selected from the group consisting of phosphinic acid compounds and phosphonous acid compounds and in the presence of an alkali metal compound of a weak acid. The weak acid has a dissociation constant lower than a first dissociation constant of a dicarboxylic acid mainly constituting the polyamide resin. The polyamide resin satisfies the following requirements (A), (B) and (C): 14000≦a≦40000  (A) b≦1.000  (B) 0.9930≦b−1.1a2×10−11+3.2a×10−7≦0.9980  (C) wherein a and b are as defined in the disclosure.

    摘要: The polyamide resin shaped article of the present invention is produced by preliminarily melt-kneading a m-xylylene-containing polyamide resin and a layered silicate subjected to a swelling treatment to prepare a resin composition containing the layered silicate in high concentration, melt-kneading the resin composition with another portion of m-xylylene-containing polyamide resin, and then formed into the shaped article. Since the amount of the m-xylylene-containing polyamide resin exposed to the heat history twice in the melt-kneading steps is minimized, the gel formation due to the thermal degradation can be reduced and the lowering of the relative viscosity due to the decrease of the molecular weight caused by the thermal degradation of the m-xylylene-containing polyamide resin is prevented.

    摘要: The inventions provides a method for immunologically determining a keratan sulfate level which method includes bringing an anti-keratan sulfate monoclonal antibody into contact with a biological sample, the anti-keratan sulfate monoclonal antibody exhibiting a relative reaction specificity between keratan sulfate-I and keratan sulfate-II represented by IC50KS-I/KS-II of 0.4 to 5, to thereby provide a signal; and detecting keratan sulfate contained in the biological sample from the signal. On the basis of the method, the invention also provides a joint disease detection method and a method for assessing the effect of a remedy for a joint disease and a candidate substance therefor. Through these methods, a very small amount of keratan sulfate contained in a sample, can be determined. Particularly, these methods can determine, at high-sensitivity and high-specificity, the total keratan sulfate including keratan sulfate-I, which have been difficult to determine through a conventional technique. The methods also enables detect a joint disease and assess the effect of a remedy for a joint disease or a candidate substance therefor.
