摘要: Disclosed is an apparatus and method for controlling switching elements (51-56) of a PWM-controlled value type inverter by a software program using a microcomputer (10). The control apparatus of the present invention produces a switching element control signal (an on/off signal) according to the following steps. When a control command value commanding the output of the inverter is determined, a control mode corresponding to the commanded output value is selected from among a plurality of control modes (M1-M6) previously contained in a table to determine the switching elements to which the control signal is applied and the order of controlling the switching elements. Further, on the basis of the control command value, the difference between a modulation signal and a predetermined reference value is computed for each phase to determine the timing of controlling the switching elements. The unit control period of each control mode is divided into halves, and the switching element control timing is determined in each of the halves of the unit control period. The control signal is produced on the basis of the combination of the selected control mode and the determined control timing.

摘要: A power conversion system is disclosed in which a direct current is taken out of an AC power supply of variable frequency and variable voltage through a PWM converter in such a manner that in a region of low source voltage, the converter input current is limited to a predetermined value to maximize the DC power taking the voltage drop of the power supply into consideration with the power factor of "1" of the power supply, and when the current reaches an allowable maximum, it is limited to that value. In a region of high source voltage, on the other hand, the quadrature component of the input voltage applied to the source voltage is controlled preferentially in a manner to control the converter input voltage below a predetermined value, thus making it possible to secure the maximum power available from the converter over the entire range of operation. If a battery is connected to the DC side, a cooperative operation is made possible while the battery is charged properly.

摘要: A power supply system for a linear motor type transportation system includes a series of driving coils disposed along a railroad track for producing a moving magnetic field to drive a train, a plurality of feeding blocks disposed along the railroad track for supplying electric power to the series of driving coils, a plurality of power converters each connected to the corresponding feeding blocks to supply electric power to each corresponding feeding section composed of the feeding blocks, and a plurality of block switches connected between neighboring two feeding blocks of the feeding blocks. Each of main controllers for determining each feeding section includes a boundary candidate operation unit for calculating a feeding section boundary candidate of a power converter between the neighboring power converters on the basis of the position information of a train being present in the feeding section, a section boundary determining unit, and a feeding block switch control unit for controlling on-off states of the block switches so as to define the feeding section boundary between neighboring two feeding blocks. Each boundary determining unit selects one boundary from two boundary candidates supplied from the boundary candidate operation units of the main controller of the neighboring two power converters.

摘要: An IMES transmitter has a control unit, a non-volatile memory to record a transmitter number of the IMES transmitter, and a data I/F. When registration data Dset associating the transmitter number with position information is input from the data I/F, the control unit records the position information included in the registration data Dset if the registration data Dset includes the transmitter number of the IMES transmitter, and transmits the registration data Dset from a transmitting unit if the registration data Dset includes the transmitter number of another position information transmission device. The device registers various information such as position information on plural position information transmission devices without requiring complicated equipments.

The surface hardness of the core has a JIS-C hardness value of 40 to 95, the center hardness of the core has a JIS-C hardness value of 30 to 72, and the hardness difference therebetween is from 4 to 14. The envelope is composed of at least two layers. The core is formed primarily of a rubber material. The envelope, intermediate layer and cover are each formed primarily of the same or different resin materials. An optimized surface hardness relationship exists between the core, a Sphere I composed of the core encased by the envelope layers, a Sphere II composed of the core encased by the envelope layers and the intermediate layer, and a Sphere III composed of the core encased by the envelope layers, the intermediate layer and the cover. The golf ball has an outstanding flight performance and controllability which are acceptable to professionals and other skilled players, in addition to which it has an excellent durability to cracking under repeated impact and an excellent scuff resistance.

摘要: A work having a non-circular cross-section is machined by relative movement between the work and a tool, as the relative position and angle between the work and tool are changed at least within a plane including the cross-section of the work. In machining along a preset tool path, the difference between the relative angle at a point on the preset tool path which machining is started and that point on the preset tool path at which machining is finished is calculated. Time needed in machining along the preset tool path is equally divided by a preset number at equal time divisions, and positions on the tool path corresponding to equal time divisions are set as tool path points. When the tool moves through each point, the relative angle is continuously changed an angle corresponding to division of the difference of the relative angles by the preset number of equal time divisions (FIG. 3).
