摘要: To achieve an intermediate lock state in a short period when an engine is stopped and improve the accuracy of confirmation of the intermediate lock state, an engine valve timing control apparatus includes a variable valve timing mechanism configured to vary engine valve timing, and an intermediate lock mechanism configured to restrict relative rotation positions of a first and a second rotor of the valve timing mechanism at an intermediate lock position for starting the engine. Upon detection of an engine stop request, the valve timing mechanism and the intermediate lock mechanism are driven and controlled for establishing an intermediate lock state. When a predetermined period from detection of the engine stop request has expired without detecting the intermediate lock state within the predetermined period, an engine stopping process is executed. Even after the engine stopping process has been executed, monitoring of the intermediate lock state is continued.

摘要: A method for diagnosing cancer comprising detecting ROBO1 protein is disclosed. In addition, a method for treating a disease caused by abnormal cell growth comprising administrating an antibody that binds to ROBO1, as well as a pharmaceutical composition, a cell growth inhibitor and an anticancer agent comprising an antibody that binds to ROBO1 as an active ingredient are disclosed. Further, a method for inducing cell damages in a ROBO1 expressing cell and a method for inhibiting the growth of a ROBO1 expressing cell by bringing a ROBO1 expressing cell into contact with an antibody that binds to ROBO1, are disclosed. Furthermore, a method for monitoring progression of hepatitis by detecting ROBO1 protein is disclosed.

摘要: Data transfer is performed to and from a host computer using a first block as the minimum unit. Data transfer is performed to and from a storage area using a second block as the minimum unit. A second block set of the storage area stores data obtained from performing data conversion processes that change the size of the data itself, with a first block set as the unit. Here a correspondence relationship is generated between the first block set and the second block set. In response to a read request from the host computer, a second block set, which corresponds to the first block set that includes the first block that is requested, is read, a reverse-conversion process is performed, and the data is sent to the host computer.
