The actively controlled vibration cancellation means (5) is an actuator including: the shaft (5a) having two opposite ends mounted to the connecting rod (4) and extending in an axial direction of the connecting rod (4), the mass member (5b) shaped in a tube to surround the shaft (5a); a coil (5e) and a winding core (5f) fixed to the shaft (5a) in the tube-shaped mass member (5b); a permanent magnet (5d) mounted to an inner peripheral surface of the tube-shaped mass member (5b) or the shaft (5a), and a connecting member (5c) for connecting at least one end of the tube-shaped mass members (5b) to the shaft (5a).

摘要: An intake valve control apparatus for an internal combustion engine includes a first variable valve operating mechanism capable of varying an operation angle of an intake valve continuously, a second variable valve operating mechanism capable of varying a maximum lift phase of the intake valve continuously, and a controller that controls an intake air amount mainly by varying the operation angle and the maximum lift phase of the intake valve. The controller is configured to, when one of the first and second variable valve operating mechanisms is at a phase position different from a predetermined start stage phase position at engine start, correct a phase position of the other of the first and second variable valve operating mechanisms in accordance with a present phase position of the one of the first and second variable valve operating mechanisms. An intake valve control method is also provided.

摘要: To an internal combustion engine having intake and exhaust valves, there is applied a variable valve timing device. The timing device comprises a first mechanism which varies a working angle of the intake valve within a first given range from a minimum working angle to a maximum working angle; a second mechanism which varies an operation phase of the exhaust valve within a second given range from a most retarded phase to a most advanced phase; and a control unit which controls both the first and second mechanisms in accordance with an operation condition of the engine. The control unit is configured to carry out, when the engine is under an idle operation range, controlling the first mechanism to cause the intake valve to assume the minimum working angle, and controlling the second mechanism to cause the exhaust valve to assume the most advanced phase, and when the intake valve assumes the minimum working angle, controlling the first mechanism to set the open timing of the intake valve to a first point retarded relative to the top dead center (TDC), and when the exhaust valve assumes the most advanced phase, controlling the second mechanism to set the close timing of the exhaust valve to a second point retarded relative to the top dead center (TDC).

The control unit feedback-controls an air-fuel ratio of the engine on the basis of the exhaust parameter and corrects the operation angle on the basis of the exhaust parameter.

摘要: A valve operating device (100) opens and closes a valve (2) of an internal combustion engine by driving a valve stem axially. A rocker cam (10) that rocks about a drive shaft (21) in synchronization with a rotation of the internal combustion engine includes a driving cam portion (11) and a lift restricting cam portion (12). A cam follower (41) lifts the valve by contacting the driving cam portion (11) slidingly so as to convert the rocking of the rocker cam (10) into an axial direction motion of the valve stem. A restricting member (42) formed integrally with the cam follower (41) in a rocker arm (40) prevents the cam follower (41) from separating from the driving cam portion (11) in cooperation with the lift restricting cam portion (12), and as a result, an irregular valve motion is prevented regardless of a rocking acceleration of the rocker cam (10).

摘要: There is provided a system for controlling an intake valve of an internal combustion engine, including a variable valve mechanism having a control shaft to continuously vary a valve lift amount of the intake valve according to a rotational angle of the control shaft and an actuator to drive the control shaft, and a control unit that controls the actuator so as to set the control shaft to a first rotational angle position at which the valve lift amount takes a first value during an engine idling period and to a second rotational angle position at which the valve lift amount takes on a second value larger than the first value to provide a required intake quantity to start the engine during a time from the beginning of an engine speed decrease period, through an engine stop period, until the completion of a cranking period of the engine.
