    摘要： ABD-ROM 100 and a local storage 200 contain dynamic scenarios (programs) such as a Java application and a Movie Object. A dynamic scenario reads profile information from PSR 31 of the playback apparatus and judges whether or not the playback apparatus is an audio-only type. If it is judged that the playback apparatus is not the audio-only type, an interactive screen is displayed to perform a control to play back a digital stream according to an operation made onto the interactive screen. If it is judged that the playback apparatus is the audio-only type, a control is performed to play back a digital stream according to an operation that is made without use of the interactive screen.

On the BD-ROM recorded further are management information and the Mixing_On flag corresponding to the management information. The management information indicates a playback control of the AVClip that is to be played back when the Java™ application is executed. The Mixing_On flag indicates whether or not when a user performs an operation on the Java™ application being executed while the AVClip is under the playback control, mixing of the click sound with an audio output of the AVClip is available.

It includes a judging unit which judges whether or not the coded picture to which the command is added is skipped at the time of trick-play, an adding unit which adds, in the case where the coded picture is judged to be skipped, repetition information indicating the same contents as the command to another coded picture that follows, in decoding order, the coded picture judged to be skipped and that is not skipped at the time of the trick-play, and a generating unit which generates the stream including the coded pictures, the command and the repetition information.

    摘要： Play list information is recorded on the local storage 200. The play list information contains main-path information and sub-path information. The main-path information specifies one among a plurality of AVClips as a MainClip and defines a main reproduction section for the MainClip. The sub-path information specifies another one among the plurality of AVClips as a SubClip and defines, for the SubClip, a sub reproduction section to be synchronized with the main reproduction section. On the local storage 200, an audio stream specified as the SubClip is recorded. The audio stream includes a plurality of PES packets which are each attached with a packet identifier (PID) that includes an upper field and a lower field. The upper field indicates that the audio stream containing the packet is a secondary audio stream whose reproduction output is able to be mixed with a reproduction output of the primary audio stream.
