The plastic case is made of a plastic material sealing the power electronic semiconductor devices and the metal block in a single package with leads connected to top- and bottom-side electrodes of the power electronic semiconductor devices extending outward from the plastic case.

摘要： A heat sink includes a heat-transfer container incorporating a flow path through which a cooling fluid flows, for cooling a heating element in contact with the heat-transfer container The flow path includes a first cross-sectional portion that becomes narrower as the distance between a given point in the flow path and a side of the heat-transfer container which makes contact with the heating element becomes longer in a direction perpendicular to the direction in which the cooling fluid flows, and a second cross-sectional portion that is approximately constant in the direction perpendicular to the direction in which the cooling fluid flows. The first cross-sectional portion and the second cross-sectional portion alternately continue in the direction in which the cooling fluid flows causing a three-dimensional flow so the heat-transfer properties are enhanced with a simplified structure.

摘要： A display data compression method can execute both irreversible compression and reversible compression, wherein display data are divided into a plurality of two-dimensional blocks, each of which is subjected to compression. In the irreversible compression, display data of each block are subjected to discrete cosine transform, quantization using a quantization table, one-dimensional rearrangement, and Huffman coding using one-dimensional Huffman table. In the reversible compression, display data of each block are subjected to scanning and compression, which are repeatedly performed by changing the scanning method therefor, so as to produce compressed data having the smallest number of effective bits. In expansion, the compressed data are decoded so that the decoded data are combined together over the blocks, thus restoring the original display data.
