摘要： An ECU is provided with a microcomputer for performing arithmetic operation for controlling a control target by executing a program stored in a ROM and for performing the process to transmit the control data calculated by means of the arithmetic operation to a communication target. The program comprises independent program modules, that is, a program (application unit) for performing the arithmetic operation, a program (communication conversion unit) for extracting the control data to be transmitted from among the control data calculated by the application unit and for performing the process to convert the extracted control data to the communication data string corresponding to the communication protocol of the communication target, and a program (communication driver unit) for performing the process to transmit the data string according to the communication protocol.

摘要： In a car development system, a control specification development computer transmits Excel-format matching data of a car manufacturer to an XML database computer of an ECU supplier. The XML database computer converts the Excel-format data to XML-format data, and stores the data into an XML database. A software development computer of the ECU supplier requests text-format matching data, and the XML database computer extracts the matching data from the XML database, converts the data to text-format data and then transmits the data to the software development computer. A matching computer of the car manufacturer can likewise store ASAP2-format data into the XML database computer or extract the data from the XML database computer.

摘要： A drive plate includes a disk-shaped plate portion; and a tooth-shaped portion formed at an outer peripheral end of the plate portion. The plate portion and the tooth-shaped portion are integrally shaped from a single steel plate material. The plate portion and the tooth-shaped portion include a carburized layer provided over an entire surface layer of the plate portion and the tooth-shaped portion, the carburized layer having a carbon concentration higher than that of a center portion of the plate portion and the tooth-shaped portion in a thickness direction. The carburized layer of the plate portion is higher in hardness than the center portion of the plate portion in the thickness direction. The carburized layer of the tooth-shaped portion has been subjected to a quenching process, and is further higher in hardness than the carburized layer of the plate portion.

A preferred embodiment provides a manufacturing device including: a compression punch that compresses a side wall portion of a raw material in an axial direction, the raw material including a bottom surface portion and the side wall portion which is cylindrical and provided to extend upright from an outer peripheral end portion of the bottom surface portion. A compression die disposed to face the compression punch in the axial direction and having a toothed shape formed on an inner peripheral surface. The compression punch contacts the compression die, and thereafter the compression die is pushed by the compression punch to form a toothed shape on the side wall portion while moving in the axial direction.
