    摘要: A compact manual transmission, especially for use in FF drive vehicles, has a small overall length even though a synchronizer is provided exclusively for reverse gear. The transmission has an input shaft, first and second intermediate shafts disposed in parallel with the input shaft, and reverse gearing. The reverse gearing includes a low-speed driving gear disposed on the input shaft; a low-speed driven gear disposed on the first intermediate shaft for meshing with the low-speed driving gear; a reverse-only driving gear disposed on the first intermediate shaft; a synchronizer for reverse gear disposed on the reverse-only driving gear for causing the low-speed driven gear and the reverse-only driving gear to engage and disengage; and an intermediate-speed driven gear disposed on the second intermediate shaft for meshing with the reverse-only driving gear.

    摘要: An apparatus comprises a changeover mechanism which is able to change a connection state of an electric motor output shaft to any one of “an IN-Connection State” in which a power transmission path is provided between a transmission input shaft and the electric motor output shaft, “an OUT-Connection State” in which a power transmission path is provided between the transmission output shaft and the electric motor output shaft, and “a neutral state” in which no transmission path therebetween is provided. When a kick-down-condition is satisfied, a changeover operation for changing an electric motor connection state to the OUT-Connection State is firstly performed. Thereafter, a gear position shifting operation for increasing a transmission reduction ratio is performed. After the kick-down-condition satisfied, an E/G side output torque Te and a M/G side output torque Tm is adjusted in such a manner that a sum Ts of Te and Tm continues to increase.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a transaxle mechanism for use in a four-wheel drive system of an automotive vehicle. The four-wheel vehicle drive system includes a central differential gear assembly, a front-wheel differential gear assembly, a ring gear and a bevel gear. The central differential gear assembly includes: a toothed wheel which engages with a transmission output gear of a power transmission gear unit; a central differential case fixed to the toothed wheel; a central pinion cross shaft fixed to the central differential case; central differential bevel pinions mounted rotatably on the central pinion cross shaft and central side bevel gears engaging with the central differential bevel pinion. The front-wheel differential gear assembly include; a front-wheel differential case fixed to one of the central side bevel gears; a front-wheel pinion cross shaft fixed to the front-wheel differential case; front-wheel differential bevel pinions mounted rotatably on the front wheel pinion cross shaft; front-wheel side bevel gears engaging with the front wheel differential bevel pinions and being secured to front wheel shafts. A second of the central side bevel gear has a hollow shaft portion within which one of the front shafts is inserted and a hub case is fixed to the hollow shaft portion of the second of central side bevel gear. The ring gear fixed to the hub case and the ring gear engages with the bevel gear which is connected to a propeller shaft. The ring gear is located apart from the central differential gear assembly and is located adjacent to the central longitudinal line of the vehicle.

    摘要: A gear structure for a manual transmission for an automobile which has a shaft rotatably supported in a transmission case, a clutch hub rotatable with the shaft and having a spline on its outer periphery, a clutch hub sleeve splinedly engaged with the spline of the clutch hub and movable in its axial direction by shifting operation of the transmission, a speed change gear freely rotatably mounted on the shaft and having a boss contacting the clutch hub and a gear spline formed independently of the speed change gear and fixed on the boss of the speed change gear. The gear spline has spline teeth on its outer periphery, and the clutch hub sleeve is splinedly engageable with the gear spline upon the shifting operation of the transmission. The gear structure comprises an annular projection formed on the outer periphery of the gear spline integrally with the spline teeth to project toward the speed change gear and an annular depression formed on one side of the speed change gear for receiving the annular projection therein.
