摘要: To improve precision in identifying the amount that remains of a recording medium, an apparatus includes a paper holder that supports an outer circumferential surface of a recording medium that is biased downward in a vertical direction by the weight of the recording medium, such that a position of a center of the recording medium moves on a straight-line trace, associated with consumption of the recording medium; and a light-reflecting sensor that is provided at a predetermined position at a side face of the paper holder and senses displacement per unit time at a position facing the predetermined position of the recording medium that is rotated by being pulled out of the paper holder, associated with the consumption of the recording medium, where based on the displacement sensed by the light-reflecting sensor, a radius of the recording medium at the time the light reflecting sensor senses the displacement is calculated.

摘要: A printer includes a fixed blade attached to a cover unit; a movable blade that faces a fixed blade, freely reciprocates relative to the fixed blade when the cover unit is closed and cuts the recording medium together with the fixed blade by overlapping the fixed blade during reciprocation; a movable blade driving motor that causes the movable blade to reciprocate; and a movable blade unit that includes the movable blade, the movable blade driving motor, and an accommodating unit accommodating the movable blade and provided at a printer main body. The printer further includes a mechanism that, when the movable blade protrudes from the accommodating unit and is stopped, widens a space over which the fixed blade and the protruding movable blade face each other before the movable blade driving motor accommodates the protruding movable blade in the accommodating unit, as initiated by operation of a cover opening lever.

摘要: Disclosed is an inverter having improved power conversion efficiency. The inverter (200) converts direct current power supplied from a plurality of direct current power supplies (V1, V2) having different voltages into alternating current power. The inverter (200) is provided with a control unit (20). The control unit (20) generates modified sine waves using a power supply voltage (E1) of the power supplied from the first direct current power supply (V1), a power supply voltage (E2) of the power supplied from the second direct current power supply (V2), and a potential difference (E1−E2) between the two power supply voltages. The control unit (20) generates the modified sine waves by controlling H bridge circuits provided for the direct current power supplies (V1, V2), respectively.

摘要: An object of the present invention is to maintain a predetermined positional relationship between an outer pin holder and a housing in a speed reducer section B, to prevent damage to such components as revolving members, outer circumferential engagers, and motion conversion mechanism upon a large axial load due to turning or sudden acceleration/deceleration, and to eliminate rattling noise caused by a housing and the outer pin holder. An elastic member is disposed on one or both axial end surfaces of the outer pin holder, between the outer pin holder and the housing. As a result, even if there is an axial load exerted on the outer pin holder, the outer pin holder is always held at a predetermined position by restoring force from the elastic member(s), in a proper positional relationship with the housing.

摘要: A method for evaluating thermal plasticity of coals and caking additives includes packing a coal or a caking additive into a vessel to prepare a sample 1; arranging a through-hole material 2 having through-holes from top to bottom surfaces, onto the sample 1; heating the sample 1 at a predetermined heating rate while maintaining a constant volume of or while applying a constant load onto the sample 1 and the through-hole material 2; measuring the permeation distance with which the molten sample has permeated into the through-holes; and evaluating thermal plasticity of the sample using the measured value. Alternatively, a method involves heating the sample 1 at a predetermined heating rate while maintaining the sample 1 and the through-hole material 2 in a constant volume; measuring the pressure of the sample that is transmitted via the through-hole material 2; and evaluating thermal plasticity of the sample using the measured value.
