    摘要: A vehicle start-up permission device in which an identification code stored in an electronic key can be kept secret. A start-up permission ECU (1) is magnetically coupled with a transmit-receive controlling circuit (6) of an electronic key (3) via an antenna (2) and an antenna (5) of the electronic key (3) with the electronic key (3) being inserted in an ignition key (4) so as to supply electric power for the circuit. When the ignition switch (4) is operated to an ACC position, the start-up permission ECU (1) transmits a random number code. When the transmit-receive controlling circuit (6) of the electronic key (3) receives the random number code, it converts by predetermined encryption processing a previously registered key code to a return code on the basis of the random number code and returns the return code. When the start-up permission ECU (1) receives the return code, it decodes a key code on the basis of the random number code, and when the key code coincides with the previously registered key code, the start-up permission ECU (1) outputs a start-up permission signal to an engine-controlling ECU (7).

    摘要: When an ignition switch detects that a key rotor of an ignition key cylinder has been turned to the accessory position by a key, a controller energizes a primary coil to cause it to output a high-frequency signal. In the key, a secondary battery is charged with a constant DC voltage generated from an AC voltage induced across a secondary coil. A transmission circuit is powered by the secondary battery, and allowed by a timer circuit to transmit a radio signal including an identification code during a predetermined period after the high-frequency signal is received by the key. Alternatively, the controller energizes the primary coil plural times with a cycle consisting of predetermined output and pause periods if the transmitted identification code does not coincide with a preset identification code at the first comparing attempt.

    摘要: It is an object of the invention to provide a vehicle alarm signal generation device which can realize the reduction of the consumption of power without unstabilizing the intruder detect operation. The vehicle alarm signal generation device includes a supersonic sensor which comprises a supersonic transmitter and a supersonic receiver. The supersonic transmitter radiates supersonic waves in the interior of a vehicle and the radiated supersonic waves are received by the supersonic receiver. If any person intrudes on the vehicle interior, then there is produced a difference between the frequencies of the radiated and received supersonic waves due to the Doppler effect generated responsive to the movements of the intruder, so that a beat frequency signal corresponding to the frequency difference is included in a signal received by the supersonic receiver. The beat frequency signal is integrated by an integrating circuit and is then converted into a voltage signal. A control circuit is arranged such that it generates an alarm signal when the voltage signal arrives at or goes beyond a reference level. The control circuit drives the supersonic sensor intermittently, invalidates the voltage signal for a given time after it starts the driving of the sensor and, after lapse of the invalidated time of the voltage signal, switches the supersonic sensor into its successive driving condition when the voltage signal reaches or exceeds an auxiliary reference level lower than the reference level.

If the operation control part reads out an identification code from an EEPROM, then it switches a control signal to be given to a switching element in accordance with the levels of the respective bits. When the control signal is off, the oscillation frequency of the oscillation circuit is F1. On the other hand, if the control signal is turned on, then one terminal of a capacitor is grounded to thereby switch the oscillation frequency over to F2. The clock signal is divided by a frequency dividing circuit before it is output. The frequency of the output signal after being divided becomes f1 or f2 in accordance with the above switching and the output signal is transmitted in the form of a frequency modulation signal.

Ensuring that the rotor turning pattern is the one predetermined for unlocking the door, the rotor-turning-pattern discriminating circuit activates an electric operating mechanism to cause a lock mechanism to unlock the door.

    摘要: An object of this invention is to provide a key cylinder device which is simple in structure and is able to positively detect the presence or absence of the key. In a key cylinder device, a key cylinder body incorporates a rotor having a key inserting inlet, and a shutter made of a magnetic material is swingably mounted in the rotor to open and close the key inserting inlet, the shutter being urged by a spring to close the key inserting inlet. When the shutter is held closed, the magnetic force of a permanent magnet acts on a normally closed lead switch to hold the switch open. When the shutter is swung open by the key being inserted into the key inserting inlet, it covers the permanent magnet, thus interrupting the action of the magnetic force of the permanent magnet on the lead switch. As a result, the reed switch closes.

    摘要: In a vehicular communication system, a microcomputer of a transmission-reception electronic control unit (ECU) transmits stored data via an antenna coil to a transceiver disposed in an ignition key when the ignition key is inserted in an ignition key cylinder of a vehicle. While the key interlock actuating signal is being inputted to a key interlock control circuit, the key interlock control circuit operates a key interlock actuator to prevent the ignition key cylinder from being turned to a position at which the ignition key may be freely removed from the ignition key cylinder. Thus, the ignition key is prevented from being removed from the ignition key cylinder during communication between the ignition key transceiver and the microcomputer, thereby ensuring that data about the vehicle will be stored in a reception device disposed in the ignition key without a failure.
