    Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a vehicle control device that controls an engine so as to improve fuel consumption in consideration of driving characteristics of a driver and an automatic driving system, the vehicle control device being capable of appropriately reflecting the driving characteristics of the driver and the automatic driving system caused by a difference in traffic environment in control, and a data adjustment method of a database. A time-series database 3 that holds a vehicle state including at least acceleration of a host vehicle in time series, a statistical database 4 that divides the vehicle state into a plurality of classes and holds the number of appearances of the vehicle state belonging to any of the divided classes, and a vehicle state prediction unit 2 that predicts a future vehicle state based on information regarding a vehicle state held in the time-series database 3 and the statistical database 4 and a vehicle state newly acquired during traveling of the host vehicle are provided.

    Abstract: A driving assistance device controls the speed of an own vehicle based on a predicted traveling state of a preceding vehicle, and includes a traveling scene recognition unit that detects the distance until the preceding vehicle reaches an intersection, a determination unit that determines a traveling scene of the preceding vehicle at the intersection, and a calculation unit that selects the preceding vehicle prediction model according to the traveling scene determined by the determination unit from among a plurality of preceding vehicle prediction models recorded for each traveling scene in which the preceding vehicle travels, and inputs a distance until the preceding vehicle detected by the traveling scene recognition unit in the selected preceding vehicle prediction model reaches the intersection so as to calculate a predicted traveling state of the preceding vehicle after a predetermined time.

    Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a vehicle control device that controls an engine so as to improve fuel efficiency, with driving characteristics of a driver or an automatic driving system in consideration. A vehicle control device includes: a driving characteristic computation unit that computes driving characteristic parameters of an own vehicle on the basis of an intervehicle distance between a preceding vehicle and the own vehicle; a preceding vehicle state prediction unit that predicts a state of the preceding vehicle after a predetermined amount of time on the basis of the intervehicle distance; and a driving state estimation unit that estimates a driving state of the own vehicle after the predetermined amount of time on the basis of the state of the preceding vehicle after the predetermined amount of time predicted by the preceding vehicle state prediction unit and the driving characteristic parameters of the own vehicle computed by the driving characteristic computation unit.
