Abstract: A machine controller that controls an action of the construction machine; an external operation controller that controls unmanned operation that does not require operation by an operator riding in an operation room, by generating a control signal according to an operation signal received from an outside via a communication terminal, and sending the control signal to the machine controller; an approach permission signaling light that signals permission for a worker to approach the construction machine; and an action request signaling light that signals a request for riding in the operation room and performing a particular action to a nearby worker are provided, and the external operation controller is configured to control the approach permission signaling light to be turned on when it is decided that approach of the worker to the construction machine can be tolerated according to information collected by the machine controller, and also control the action request signaling light to be turned on when it is decided that it is necessary to request a nearby worker to take a particular action. Thereby, it is possible to succinctly notify nearby workers and a manager of a machine-body action state, and to realize both the safety and work efficiency of the workers near the machine body and the manager.

Abstract: Provided is a construction machine capable of driving each hydraulic actuator at a suitable speed while suppressing delivery flow rate of a hydraulic pump, both at a single operation time of driving each hydraulic actuator respectively singularly and at a combined operation time of simultaneously driving a plurality of hydraulic actuators. A controller is configure to compute a first required pump flow rate for each of operation amounts of a plurality of operation devices, compute a second required pump flow rate greater than the first required pump flow rate for the same operation amount for each of the operation amounts of the plurality of operation devices, select as a final required pump flow rate either smaller one of a sum total value of the first required pump flow rates computed for the operation amounts of the plurality of operation devices and a maximum value of the second required pump flow rates computed for the operation amounts of the plurality of operation devices, and control a regulator in such a manner that the delivery flow rate of the hydraulic pump and the final required pump flow rate will be equal.

Abstract: Provided are a machine controller that controls operation of the hydraulic excavator, an external operation controller that executes control of unattended operation that does not require operation through riding of an operator in a cab, by generating a control signal according to an operation signal received from the external through a communication terminal and sending out the control signal to the machine controller, an operation indicator light that indicates that the unattended operation of the hydraulic excavator is normally in operation, and an approach permission indicator light that indicates permission of approach of a worker to the hydraulic excavator. The external operation controller, according to information collected into the machine controller, turns on the operation indicator light when determining that the hydraulic excavator is normally operating, and turns on the approach permission indicator light when determining that approach of the worker to the hydraulic excavator is permissible.

Abstract: Disclosed is a hydraulic control system of a construction machine capable of achieving a reduction in meter-out pressure loss in accordance with variation of a negative load acting on a hydraulic actuator and capable of preventing deterioration in operability even when an abnormal condition arises in a pressure sensor detecting the magnitude of a negative load. There are provided meter-out flow lines through which a hydraulic fluid discharged from a hydraulic actuator flows; variable restrictors provided in the meter-out flow lines; a load sensor detecting the magnitude of a negative load which is a load applied to the hydraulic actuator by an external force and which is a load in the same direction as the operating direction of the hydraulic actuator; and a control device which, when the load abnormality sensor does not detect any abnormality in the load sensor, reduces the sum total of the opening areas of the variable restrictors in accordance with an increase in the magnitude of the negative load detected by the load sensor and the operation amount detected by the operation amount sensor and which, when the load abnormality sensor detects abnormality in the load sensor, reduces the sum total of the opening areas of the variable restrictors to a predetermined value in accordance with the operation amount detected by the operation amount sensor.

A controller (30) controls a first regulator (60a) according to the maximum value among target displacement volume (Qa1) of a first hydraulic pump (1) that is based on a boom raising operation amount (Pi1), and target displacement volume (Qa2) of the first hydraulic pump (1) that is based on an arm crowding operation amount (Pi2) of an arm operation device (18) if the boom raising operation amount (Pi1) of a boom operation device (17) is smaller than a predetermined operation amount, or if a delivery pressure (P2) of a second hydraulic pump (2) is equal to or higher than a predetermined pressure, and controls the first regulator (60a) according only to the target displacement volume (Qa1) of the first hydraulic pump (1) that is based on the boom raising operation amount (Pi1) if the boom raising operation amount (Pi1) is equal to or larger than the predetermined operation amount, and the delivery pressure (P2) of the second hydraulic pump (2) is lower than the predetermined pressure.

Abstract: Disclosed is a hydraulic drive system capable of improving the fuel efficiency of a work machine by reducing the pressure loss and drag loss of a hydraulic pump. A control valve drive section drives the first control valve such that a communication area between the first hydraulic pump and the tank is enlarged corresponding to an increase in the load on the first hydraulic actuator; and a flow rate control section, during supply of the hydraulic fluid from the first and second hydraulic pumps to the first hydraulic actuator, controls to reduce a delivery flow rate of the first hydraulic pump corresponding to an increase in the load on the first hydraulic actuator.
