    摘要: Here is disclosed a cell culture tank comprising a cylindrical screen mounted upright within the cell culture tank and having upper and lower openings through which culture medium flows, a pipe for supply of oxygen or oxygen containing gas and an agitator adapted to produce a flow of the culture medium, both the pipe and the agitator being provided within the cylindrical screen, wherein the agitator drives the culture medium to flow downward through the lower opening of the cylindrical screen, then to flow upward into a space defined between the cylindrical screen and the inner wall of the cell culture tank, and a relationship between an ascending velocity of the culture medium and a sinking velocity of the adherent carriers produces in the space between the cylindrical screen and the inner wall of the cell culture tank a floating region within which the adherent carriers float in the culture medium and a separating region within which the adherent carriers are separated from the culture medium.

    摘要: An apparatus is disclosed wherein a highly viscous, heat-sensitive material such as concentrated whole milk or concentrated fruit juice is supplied onto a plural-stage belt conveyor stretched within a vacuum chamber and is dried and solidified by means of a heating member while moving along the belt conveyor. The resulting dried material is received by a fixed cutter provided within a casing disposed at the turning point where the belt conveyor is to turn to the return stroke side. This dried material is then crushed by a crushing device equipped with said fixed cutter and a rotary cutter cooperating therewith, and the thus crushed material is let fall within the casing and discharged to the outside of the vacuum chamber by means of a discharging device equipped with a screw wing installed in the lower part of the casing.

    摘要: A material feed pipe for use in a belt-system continuous vacuum drier and oriented above a belt moving within a vacuum drying chamber. The feed pipe includes an inner tube having its one end provided with an inlet for material and the other end being closed. An outer tube has its two ends closed and encircling said inner tube with a radial space therebetween. A plurality of nozzle openings are provided in an upper part of the inner tube at a fixed pitch along the axial length thereof. The nozzle openings are so devised as to have a larger diameter in regular succession from the inlet end to the opposite end of the inner tube; and a plurality of further nozzle openings are provided in the lower part of the outer tube at a fixed pitch along the axial length thereof and have a fixed diameter.

    摘要: Cell cultivation is carried out by proliferating cells in a small preliminary culture tank containing immobilizing carriers, stripping proliferated cells from the carriers, forming a cell suspension of the stripped cells in culture medium in an intermediate reservoir, intermittently transferring the suspension into a main culture tank containing ceramic immobilizing carriers and further culturing the cells. The main culture tank has an inversed funnel-shaped inlet above the carriers with a perforated plate attached to the bottom of the inlet for uniform distribution of cell suspension from above the carriers, and a plate in the form of a net under the carriers on a perforated plate for uniform distribution of cell suspension from beneath the carriers. The main tank additionally has a lid detachably carrying the inversed funnel-shaped inlet an intermediate drum-shaped portion from which the lid is detachable and a lower portion detachably carrying the plate in the form of a net and being detachable from the drum-shaped portion. The lower portion is held on or separated from the drum-shaped portion by means of a link mechanism and a cylinder capable of lowering the lower portion to separate it from the drum-shaped portion.

    摘要: There is provided between a concentrate tank and a membrane filter a circulating line which consists of a feed line and a return line. It is also possible to use an ultrafilter as the membrane filter. There is provided a leveling tube connected by respective pipes to the concentrate tank at top and bottom portions thereof, respectively. A buoy floats within the leveling tube and a position of this buoy is detected by means of transparency of the leveling tube itself or photosensors in order to detect a degree of concentration of the culture fluid progressing within the concentrate tank. There may be provided multi-stage circulating lines each connecting the associated concentrate tank to the associated membrane filter so that the culture fluid can be transferred during the process of concentration from the stage of the largest volume treatment to the state of the least volume treatment in order to concentrate the culture fluid more efficiently.

    摘要: An improved apparatus for supplying materials, useful for belt type continuous vacuum dryer, is provided which comprises an inner cylinder equipped with a material-supplying duct fixed onto one end thereof, a distributing chamber formed inside the cylinder and communicating with the duct and a plurality of distributing nozzles fixed thereto; an outer cylinder having the inner cylinder rotatably inserted thereinto and having a plurality of distributing nozzles provided at the opposed locations to the former distributing nozzles; a screw feeder provided in freely rotatable manner inside the distributing chamber; and a driving mechanism for rotating the outer cylinder.According to this apparatus, it is possible to supply materials on a moving belt, continuously and uniformly over the whole surface of the belt.
