Novel pyrazole derivatives of the general formula (I) ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 represents an alkyl, haloalkyl, alkenyl, haloalkenyl or phenyl group, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 each represent a hydrogen or halogen atom, or an alkyl, haloalkyl, alkoxy, alkoxyalkyl or phenyl group, and R.sup.4 represents an alkyl, alkenyl, haloalkenyl or phenyl group, or a heterocyclic aromatic group which contains at least one of oxygen, nitrogen and sulfur atoms and may be unsubstituted or substituted,which are useful as agricultural and horticultural fungicides. The pyrazole derivatives can be produced by reacting compounds of the general formula (III) ##STR2## wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 are as defined above, and X represents a halogen atom,with aminoacetonitriles of the general formula (IV) ##STR3## wherein R.sup.4 is as defined above, or salts thereof.

In preparing an iodoalkynyl carbamate by iodinating an alkynyl carbamate with iodine monochloride in water or a solvent mixture composed of water and an organic solvent in the presence of a base, the iodoalkynyl carbamate can be obtained in a yield of as high as 96 to 98% by using the alkynyl carbamate in a concentration of 5 to 20% by weight, dissolving the iodine monochloride in an aqueous solution of hydrochloric acid or an aqueous solution of an alkali metal chloride (the amount of iodine monochloride used being within the range of 1.0 to 1.2 moles per mole of the alkynyl carbamate and the amount of base used being within the range of 0.95 to 2.00 gram equivalents per mole of iodine monochloride), and carrying out the reaction at a temperature of 10.degree. to 40.degree. C. for a period of 1 to 4 hours.According to this process, highly pure iodoalkynyl carbamates which are useful as industrial germicides can be prepared with good selectivity and in high yield.

A display system for displaying a document includes a tablet terminal and a head mounted display device (HMD). The tablet terminal includes a display device which does not display confidential information that a third party is not allowed to browse, but displays non-confidential information that the third party is allowed to browse with regard to the document. The HMD includes a glasses-type display unit which does not allow the third party to browse, but allows a HMD user to browse, a communication unit which receives the confidential information, and a video camera for capturing the non-confidential information displayed on the display device. The glasses-type display unit, based on the captured non-confidential information, displays the received confidential information so that the received confidential information is visually recognized by the HMD user in a state of being aligned with the non-confidential information displayed on the display device.

In a mobile communication system in an embodiment, when a handover of a mobile station which is a target of coordinated communications among multiple wireless base stations is detected, at least a part of setting procedure for the coordinated communications (CoMP setting procedure) is executed before completion of the handover. Hence, the coordinated transmission for the mobile station can be resumed earlier after the handover, and any reduction in the communication quality or throughput caused by the resume of the coordinated communication after the handover of the mobile station can be prevented.

A transmitter of the transmitting apparatus transmits a predetermined wideband signal, in a first time period in a frequency band which does not include the first frequency and in a second time period in a frequency band which does not include the second frequency. A quality measuring unit of the receiving apparatus measures the quality of communication with the transmitting apparatus based on the wideband signal received in the first and second time periods.
