Abstract: In an exhaust gas purifying catalyst according to the present invention, a substrate includes inflow-side cells, outflow-side cells, and porous partition walls, each partition wall separating the inflow-side cell from the outflow-side cell. Catalyst portions include: first catalyst portions, each first catalyst portion being provided on a surface of the partition wall that faces the inflow-side cell on an upstream side in an exhaust gas flow direction, and second catalyst portions, each second catalyst portion being provided on a surface of the partition wall that faces the outflow-side cell on a downstream side, and the exhaust gas purifying catalyst satisfies the following expressions: IB1/IA×100≥60%, IB2/IA×100≥60%, IC1/IA×100≥3%, and IC2/IA×100≥3%, where IA, IB1, IB2, IC1, and IC2 represent pore volumes, definitions of which can be found in the specification.

Abstract: Provided is an exhaust purifying filter having high catalyst purification performance and particulate matter capturing performance while reducing pressure loss. A GPF includes a filter substrate in which a plurality of cells extending from an inflow-side end surface to an outflow-side end surface are partitioned and formed by a porous partition wall and an inflow-side cell in which an opening in the outflow-side end surface is sealed and an outflow-side cell in which an opening in the inflow-side end surface is sealed are alternately disposed; and a TWC which is carried on the partition wall, wherein a difference between a total volume of pores having pore diameters within a range of 0.1 μm to 10.7 μm in pore distribution of the GPF and a total volume of pores having pore diameters within a range of 0.1 μm to 10.7 μm in pore distribution of the filter substrate is 0.015 ml/g˜0.06 ml/g.

Abstract: To provide an exhaust gas purification filter having a high capability of collecting particulate matter. The exhaust gas purification filter includes a filter base material having a wall flow structure and an exhaust gas purification catalyst. A wash coating amount of the exhaust gas purification catalyst ranges from 60 to 110 g/L or less. When the exhaust gas purification filter is divided into an upstream part, a middle part, and a downstream part, and average values of catalyst area ratios of the exhaust gas purification catalyst supported by surfaces of the partition walls are acquired at predetermined locations in cells on an inflow side and cells on an outflow side, a minimum value, among the average values, is 28% or greater. A maximum value, among sizes of pores in the partition walls after the exhaust gas purification catalyst is supported, is 14.6 μm or less.

Abstract: It is an object of the present invention to provide an exhaust gas purifying catalyst filter which has enhanced soot collection performance without increasing pressure loss caused by the formation of a catalyst layer in a partition wall of a wall flow type substrate.
A gasoline engine exhaust gas purifying catalyst filter for purifying exhaust gas of a gasoline engine includes: a wall flow type substrate in which an introduction-side cell having an open exhaust gas introduction-side end, and a discharge-side cell adjacent to the introduction-side cell and having an open exhaust gas discharge-side end are defined by a porous partition wall; and a catalyst layer formed in a pore of the partition wall. An absolute value of a maldistribution degree of the catalyst layer formed in the pore of the partition wall is 4.50 or less. A wash coat amount, excluding a mass of a platinum group, of the catalyst layer formed in the pore of the partition wall, is 40 g/L or more and 50 g/L or less. The catalyst layer formed in the pore of the partition wall is a single layer. The catalyst layer is free of Ba.
