Abstract:
Provided is a process for producing biomass-based product from straw hemicellulose and utilizing the components thereof thoroughly. Steam-explosion and acid-hydrolysis are combined in the pre-treatment of straw in the process, thus a higher concentration of a sugar liquid can be obtained, and furfural and acetic acid can be recovered. The hemicellulose obtained by the pre-treatment can be used directly as ferment materials for producing butanol, succinic acid, butylene glycol, lactic acid, hydrogen and firedamp, which reduces the cost of these biomass-based products. The cellulose and lignin obtained by extracting the straw with an alkaline solution can produce products, such as sodium hydroxymethyl cellulose etc. In the process, all components in the straw can be utilized thoroughly and waste and pollutant will not be produced.

Abstract:
The invention provides a process for co-producing ethanol and Radix Puerariae flavones and utilizing Radix Puerariae fibers from Radix Puerariae by way of clean solid state fermentation, and the device used therein. The process comprises the following steps: providing Radix Puerariae as raw material; pretreating the Radix Puerariae raw material by steam explosion; producing and separating ethanol by continuous coupled solid state fermentation; filtering off fermentation residues; and extracting and purifying Radix Puerariae flavones from the filtrate. The process achieves an effective and comprehensive utilization of Radix Puerariae.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for fractionally converting pennisetum hydridum into fuel ethanol with co-production of electricity generation and paper pulp, which comprises subjecting the pennisetum hydridum having been cut into segments to steam explosion treatment by utilizing a steam explosion device to obtain a steam explosion product, and said method is characterized in that it comprises the steps of: washing the steam explosion product with water to obtain fibers and water washing liquid containing a degraded hemicellulose, and separating and purifying the water washing liquid to obtain an xylo-oligosaccharide; fractionally teasing the fibers, and subjecting the obtained long fibers to an ethanol self-catalyzed pulping and then a bleaching treatment to obtain a paper pulp, and after recovering ethanol, obtaining an alcohol-soluble lignin by separation; preparing cellulase by a solid state fermentation, that is, taking the short fibers obtained by fractionally teasing as a fermentation substrate of Trichoderma viride to prepare a solid cellulase; mixing the short fibers, the solid cellulase and yeast to perform a simultaneous saccharification fermentation for obtaining the fuel ethanol and a fermentation residue, and producing CO2 by the fermentation; and drying the fermentation residue to prepare a biomass fuel for electricity generation. The method of the invention can realize a high efficient comprehensive utilization of the pennisetum hydridum resource.

Abstract:
The gas dual-dynamic solid state fermentation technique consists of placing the solid materials to be fermented in an air environment with pulsating pressure and cyclic flow to carry out fermentation, the fermentation apparatus comprises a horizontal cylindrical tank with a quick door mechanism, in the tank are axially disposed rectangular spacer barrels of square cross-section constructed by four baffles, in the space between baffles and the tank wall are provided cooler tubes in parallel with the baffles, in the middle of the spacer barrels are provided vertically many sets of cooler tubes, on the lower baffles in the tank is provided axially an fixed track, on which are movable tray racks that can roll on the track, the tray racks having thereon a plurality of layers of trays, at the rear of the tank is provided a centrifugal blowers for forcing gas cycling in the tank. The inventive technique and apparatus allows microbial pure cultivation, is easy for scaling up and high in fermentation virulence titre and produce no pollution. It is useful for fermentation production of biological pesticides, enzyme preparations, agricultural antibiotics and unicell albumen.
