A process for blow molding and fluorination of a hollow thermoplastic article includes bringing a blank to rest against the inside wall of the blow mold as a result of introducing an inert blow gas. An inert gas/reaction mixture is then introduced in the hollow article for fluorinating the inside surface of the hollow article. After the inside surface of the hollow article has cooled off, the inert gas/reaction gas mixture is blown in below the melting point of the thermoplastic material.

The face plate includes side flaps configured to wrap around the downspout when the downspout filter is installed and is generally configured to blend in with the downspout. The gutter cover has two raised areas on its surface to create three channels for water flow. The gutter cover can be fastened to a gutter without fasteners.

The invention relates to a method and a device for producing a semiconductor layer. The problem addressed is that of increasing the deposition rate of the layer constituents and significantly improving the efficiency of a resulting solar cell. At the same time, the material costs are intended to be reduced. The problem is solved by virtue of the fact that, in a vacuum chamber, metal evaporator sources release Cu, In and/or Ga or the chalcogenide compounds, the latter are focused as metal vapour jets onto the substrate, and Se and/or S emerge(s) in an ionized fashion from a chalcogen low-energy wide-beam ion source and this beam is focused onto the surface of the substrate in such a way that it overlaps the metal vapour jets. A device for carrying out the method is described.

A process for printing or coating a substrate with a liquid-crystalline composition and at least one non-liquid-crystalline print or coating as a multilayer and a substrate produced by this process is described. The liquid-crystalline composition contains at least one compound having two polymerizable groups and at least one compound having only one polymerizable group, and optional further additives. The non-liquid-crystalline print or coating contains one or more IR- or UV-absorbent or fluorescent dye or pigment. The process and the printed substrate are useful in producing counterfeiting-proof marking of articles.
