摘要: The present invention provides a mineral base oil having a kinetic viscosity at 100° C. of 7 mm2/s or more and less than 10 mm2/s, a viscosity index of 100 or more, and a temperature gradient Δ|η*| complex viscosity between two temperature points of −5° C. and −15° C. of 240 mPa·s/° C. or less as measured with a rotary rheometer at an angular velocity of 6.3 rad/s. The use of the mineral base oil enables easy preparation of a lubricating oil composition and a grease composition having excellent oxidation stability while ensuring the freedom of selection of additives.

The present invention is concerned with a lubricating oil composition for two-wheeled vehicles, including a base oil (A) having a viscosity index of 120 or more, an ethylene-propylene copolymer (B), and a metal-based detergent (C), wherein the content of the ethylene-propylene copolymer (B) is 0.30% by mass or more on the basis of the whole amount of the lubricating oil composition; the metal-based detergent (C) contains a calcium phenate (C1) and a calcium sulfonate (C2), and a mass ratio of the content (Ca1) of the calcium phenate (C1) as expressed in terms of a calcium atom to the content (Ca2) of the calcium sulfonate (C2) as expressed in terms of a calcium atom is satisfied with a relation of (1.0≤Ca1/Ca2); and the lubricating oil composition has a kinematic viscosity at 100° C. is less than 9.3 mm2/s and an HTHS viscosity at 150° C. is 2.9 mPa·s or more.

摘要: Provided is a lubricating oil composition to be used in an internal combustion engine having a sliding mechanism including a piston ring and a liner, the lubricating oil composition including: a base oil; (A) a poly(meth)acrylate; and (B) an organic molybdenum compound, in which: (A) the poly(meth)acrylate contains a polymer (A1) including a repeating unit derived from a (meth)acrylate represented by the following formula (1) and having a mass-average molecular weight of from 1,000 to 500,000; and a content of (B) the organic molybdenum compound in a total amount of the composition is from 0.01 mass % to 0.2 mass % in terms of a molybdenum atom: wherein R1 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, and X represents a hydrogen atom, a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 60 carbon atoms, or a functional group-containing hydrocarbon group having 1 to 60 carbon atoms.
