    摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a lubricating oil composition which, even while exhibiting an excellent friction reducing effect by combining plural types of molybdenum-based friction modifiers, has excellent high-temperature detergency, oxidation stability and copper corrosion resistance. The object has been achieved by a lubricating oil composition containing a base oil (A), a molybdenum-based friction modifier (B), a metal-based detergent (C), and an ash-free dispersant (D), wherein the molybdenum-based friction modifier (B) contains two or more selected from the group consisting of a binuclear molybdenum dithiocarbamate (B1), a trinuclear molybdenum dithiocarbamate (B2), and a molybdenum-amine complex (B3); the metal-based detergent (C) contains a sulfur atom; the ash-free dispersant (D) contains a nitrogen atom; the acid value derived from the binuclear molybdenum dithiocarbamate (B1) and the trinuclear molybdenum dithiocarbamate (B2) is less than 0.04 mgKOH/g; the content ratio of a sulfur content (CS) derived from the metal-based detergent (C) to a nitrogen content (DN) derived from the ash-free dispersant (D), [(CS)/(DN)] is 0.30 to 0.85 in terms of the mass ratio; and the phosphorus content based on the total amount of the lubricating oil composition is more than 0.04% by mass and less than 0.10% by mass.

    摘要: An acrylic-fiber finish for use in carbon-fiber production contributes to high tenacity of resultant carbon fiber. The acrylic-fiber finish for carbon-fiber production includes an epoxy-polyether-modified silicone and a surfactant. The weight ratios of the epoxy-polyether-modified silicone and the surfactant in the total of the non-volatile components of the finish respectively range from 1 to 95 wt % and from 5 to 50 wt %. The carbon fiber production method includes a fiber production process for producing an acrylic fiber for carbon-fiber production by applying the finish to an acrylic fiber which is a basic material for the acrylic fiber for carbon-fiber production; an oxidative stabilization process for converting the acrylic fiber produced in the fiber production process into oxidized fiber in an oxidative atmosphere at 200 to 300 deg.C.; and a carbonization process for carbonizing the oxidized fiber in an inert atmosphere at 300 to 2,000 deg.C.

    摘要: A composite lubricant for recording disk media, a recording disk media including a layer of the composite lubricant, and method of manufacturing the same are described. The composite lubricant may include a non-phosphazene component and a phosphazene component where the non-phosphazene component is a difunctional perfluoropolyether compound terminated with first and second polar end groups, the first polar end group comprising a first number of hydroxyls and the second polar end includes a second number of hydroxyls, greater than the first number of hydroxyls. The phosphazene component may be a difunctional perfluoropolyether compound terminated with a phosphazene functional group and with a third polar end group, the third polar end group comprising a third number of hydroxyls equal to the second number of hydroxyls.
