Abstract: A method comprises deploying a tool to a passageway exit site through a lumen of a flexible elongate device. The flexible elongate device comprises a proximal end, a distal end, and the lumen therebetween, and the tool comprises a needle. The method further comprises puncturing a passageway wall at the passageway exit site with the needle. The method further comprises deploying the needle through the passageway wall and through target tissue at a target location beyond the passageway wall. The method further comprises deploying an instrument to perform treatment on the target tissue at the target location. The instrument is deployed within the tool and through a perforation created in the target tissue by the needle.

Abstract: A medical system comprises a display system, an elongate device, an imaging probe configured to extend within the elongate device, and a control system communicatively coupled to the display system. The control system is configured to display a graphical user interface via the display system. The graphical user interface includes a virtual navigation view and a fluoroscopic view. The control system is further configured to: display an image of the elongate device in the virtual navigation view; determine a position of an imaging probe marker in the virtual navigation view based on a position of the imaging probe displayed in the fluoroscopic view; determine a plane of orientation of the imaging probe marker in the virtual navigation view based on an orientation of the imaging probe displayed in the fluoroscopic view; and determine an orientation indicator for the imaging probe marker in the virtual navigation view.

The connection member may be spaced apart from the fixed mounting component in the first engagement and may be in direct contact with the fixed mounting component in the second engagement.

Abstract: Systems for performing a medical procedure and associated methods and devices are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, a system for performing a medical procedure includes an elongate flexible device including a proximal portion, a distal portion, and a lumen extending therebetween. The lumen is configured to receive a medical instrument positioned within a target when the elongate flexible device is positioned toward the target. Abstract: A medical system includes a catheter and a processor. The catheter includes a first channel and a distal end portion associated with a catheter frame of reference. The processor is configured to receive a first image captured by a first imaging device provided by the catheter within a patient anatomy, and receive a second image of the patient anatomy captured by a second imaging device from outside the patient anatomy. The second image includes the catheter and the first imaging device. The processor is further configured to determine a relative pose between the first imaging device and the distal end of the catheter based on the second image, determine a target location associated with a target structure in the first image, and transform the target location in an image frame of reference associated with the first image to the catheter frame of reference based on the relative pose.
