摘要: A method comprises deploying a tool to a passageway exit site through a lumen of a flexible elongate device. The flexible elongate device comprises a proximal end, a distal end, and the lumen therebetween, and the tool comprises a needle. The method further comprises puncturing a passageway wall at the passageway exit site with the needle. The method further comprises deploying the needle through the passageway wall and through target tissue at a target location beyond the passageway wall. The method further comprises deploying an instrument to perform treatment on the target tissue at the target location. The instrument is deployed within the tool and through a perforation created in the target tissue by the needle.

The control system is configured to display a graphical user interface via the display system. The graphical user interface includes a virtual navigation view and a fluoroscopic view. The control system is further configured to: display an image of the elongate device in the virtual navigation view; determine a position of an imaging probe marker in the virtual navigation view based on a position of the imaging probe displayed in the fluoroscopic view; determine a plane of orientation of the imaging probe marker in the virtual navigation view based on an orientation of the imaging probe displayed in the fluoroscopic view; and determine an orientation indicator for the imaging probe marker in the virtual navigation view.

摘要: Systems and methods for minimally invasive treatment of target tissue among one or more passageways include a flexible elongate device, a tool including a first tubular member, and an instrument to perform treatment on target tissue around the target location. The flexible elongate device includes a proximal end, a distal end, and a lumen therebetween. The tool is configured for deployment within the lumen to a passageway exit site, puncturing a passageway wall at the passageway exit site, and deployment to a target location. The instrument is sized to be deployed within the tool. In some embodiments, the systems and methods further include an anchor configured to stabilize the tool. In some embodiments, the first tubular member is a first hollow sheath configured to be deployed past the distal end of the flexible elongate device to the passageway exit site.

摘要: Systems for performing a medical procedure and associated methods and devices are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, a system for performing a medical procedure includes an elongate flexible device including a proximal portion, a distal portion, and a lumen extending therebetween. The lumen is configured to receive a medical instrument positioned within a target when the elongate flexible device is positioned toward the target. The system is configured to perform operations comprising determining the pose of the distal portion of the elongate flexible device based on sensor data from a sensor system; retracting, via a control system, the elongate flexible device relative to the medical instrument and away from the target; and adjusting, via the control system, the pose of the distal portion of the elongate flexible device so the distal portion remains oriented toward the target.
