摘要： A stent-graft includes a short tube graft and patch located inside of a primary graft. The patch forms a smooth and reliably sealed transition between the primary graft and the short tube graft. Accordingly, the disruption to fluid, e.g., blood, flowing through the lumen of the primary graft by the short tube graft is minimal. Further, the patch supports the inner end of the short tube graft. Thus, the patch, the short tube graft and the primary graft form a stable three-dimensional structure.

摘要： A tubular prosthesis comprises a tubular graft; and an undulating stent having a plurality of apexes, a first end defined at least in part by a first group of the apexes, and a second end defined at least in part by a second group of the apexes, the first group of apexes being pivotally attached to the tubular graft so as to form a plurality of circumferentially arranged hinges about which the stent can pivot so that the second group of apexes can move between a position where they are inside the tubular graft and a position where they are outside the tubular graft. In one embodiment a tubular prosthesis comprises a tubular graft having a first end margin, a second end margin and a central portion therebetween; and an undulating stent having a plurality of apexes, a first end defined at least in part by a first group of the apexes, and a second end defined at least in part by a second group of the apexes, the undulating stent being secured to the tubular graft in a manner such that it can be inverted to extend generally in the same direction as the tubular graft with one end thereof forming an end of said tubular prosthesis and pointing away from the central portion of the tubular graft.

摘要： A stent graft includes at least one aperture extending through the main body thereof, into which an extension portion may be deployed for positioning within an adjacent branch flow lumen. The extension portions include self biasing features, wherein the extension is biased into engagement with the main body to seal the interface thereof. Additionally, the extension portion may be configured for tortuous or deviated anatomy, to enable sealing of the extension portion with the body while extending the extension portion in a substantially non-radial direction from the main body.

摘要： A braided flange branch graft formed of a braided super elastic memory material includes a neck between an inner flange and an outer flange. The neck is positioned in a side opening in a sidewall of a main stent graft and the inner flange and outer flange are deployed on opposite sides of the sidewall. The inner flange and the outer flange have a diameter greater than a diameter of the side opening in the sidewall of the main stent graft. Thus, the sidewall of the main stent graft is sandwiched between the inner flange and the outer flange securely and simply mounting the braided flange branch graft to the main stent graft. The braided flange has a substantially unobstructed fluid communication passage therethrough. Further, when stretched into a substantially cylindrical shape for delivery, the braided flange branch graft has a small delivery profile and is extremely flexible.

摘要： A method includes deploying a fenestration segment stent-graft into a main vessel such that a fenestration section of the fenestration segment stent-graft covers a first branch vessel emanating from the main vessel. The fenestration segment stent-graft includes a proximal section, a distal section, and the fenestration section attached to and between the proximal section and the distal section. The fenestration section has a greater resistance to tearing than the proximal section and the distal section facilitating formation of a collateral opening aligned with the branch vessel in the fenestration section.

摘要： A delivery system for use with a prosthetic heart valve having a stent frame to which a valve structure is attached, includes a shaft assembly including a distal end and a coupling structure disposed near the distal end and configured to be coupled to a distal end of the prosthetic heart valve. The system includes a sheath assembly defining a lumen sized to slidably receive the shaft assembly. The delivery system is configured to transition from a loaded state in which the sheath assembly encompasses the prosthetic heart valve to a deployed state in which the sheath assembly is withdrawn from the prosthetic heart valve. The coupling structure is configured to provide a controlled expansion or contraction of the distal end of the prosthetic heart valve based on longitudinal movement of the distal end of the shaft assembly.
