摘要: Systems and methods for dewatering mine tailings. The systems and methods include distributing a slurry of high permeability material on a sloped surface to define a high permeability layer and subsequently distributing a slurry of low permeability mine tailings on the high permeability layer to define a low permeability layer that is vertically above and in contact with the high permeability layer. The sloped surface defines a non-zero surface grade, and natural slopes of both the slurry of high permeability material and the slurry of low permeability mine tailings are within a threshold grade difference of the surface grade. In some embodiments, the systems and methods may include augmenting the slurry of high permeability material and/or augmenting the slurry of low permeability mine tailings to adjust the natural slope thereof.

摘要: A shelf assembly and a refrigerator including the same. The shelf assembly includes: a shelf plate having first to fourth mounting members, and first to fourth brackets each having a fitting slot, in which the first and second brackets are disposed at a left and right side of the shelf plate respectively. The fitting slot of each of the first and second brackets includes a first sliding groove and a plurality of first receiving grooves. The first and second mounting members are slidable within the first sliding groove of the first and second brackets along the vertical direction so as to selectively fit within one of the plurality of the first receiving grooves. The third and fourth mounting members are fitted within the fitting slot of the third and fourth brackets and a position of the third and fourth mounting members are adjustable along the vertical direction.

摘要: A power delivery system includes at least one conductor having a first end and a second end and a phasor measurement unit (PMU) coupled to the first end of the conductor. The PMU is configured to obtain phasor data at the first end and generate a phasor signal that includes the phasor data. The power delivery system also includes a power generation system coupled to the second end of the conductor and configured to provide power to the conductor. The power generation system includes a power source, a power converter, and a controller. The controller is communicatively coupled to the PMU and is configured to receive the phasor signal and control the power converter based at least partially on the phasor data.

摘要: An apparatus for making directional resistivity measurements of a subterranean formation includes a resistivity tool body with a longitudinal axis and an outer surface, a first antenna with two open ends deployed below the outer surface, a second antenna deployed below the outer surface and spaced at an axial distance from the first antenna, and at least one slot formed on the outer surface. A corresponding method for making directional resistivity measurements includes rotating a resistivity tool in a borehole, utilizing a transmitter-receiver antenna group formed in the resistivity tool to process an electromagnetic wave, and computing a resistivity-related measurement from the electromagnetic wave received on the receiver antenna.

摘要: Disclosed is a method of retorting an oil sands or oil scale material to recover the hydrocarbon values therein in the form of crude oil products. Dried crushed material is directed to a retort unit in which the material is heated in the present of a catalyst to generate a gas byproduct containing the desired hydrocarbon values and a solid byproduct containing carbon. The gas byproduct is treated in a condenser to cool the gas to recover desired crude oil products. The solids byproduct is calcined in a heated gas after which the calcined solids byproduct is separated from the heated gas.

摘要: A system for distributing electrical current to a plurality of loads includes a first sensor coupled to an input of a protection zone for measuring a first current entering the protection zone, wherein the protection zone includes at least a portion of an electrical distribution feeder. The system also includes a second sensor coupled to an output of the protection zone for measuring a second current exiting the protection zone, and a processor coupled to the first sensor and to the second sensor. The processor is programmed to receive measurements representative of the first current and the second current, and calculate a reactive current differential of the protection zone based on the first current and the second current. The processor is also programmed to compare the reactive current differential with a fault threshold, and generate an error notification if the reactive current differential is greater than the fault threshold.
