摘要: A sterilization system with multipurpose degasser has a vortex mixing cylinder, an endcap, and a deionization system. The vortex mixing cylinder is a container that has an inlet an outlet. The inlet and out enable an ozone-water mixture to flow into a mixing chamber within the vortex mixing cylinder. The mixing chamber is designed to facilitate the formation of an ozone saturated ozone-water mixture. The endcap is used to cover an opening of the mixing chamber and is used to expel gasses out of the mixing chamber. The deionization system is an electrical filter that removes ozone particles from the air within the mixing chamber. The deionization system is mounted in between the vortex mixing cylinder and the endcap. Accordingly, gasses must pass through the deionization system prior to being expelled through the endcap. The ozone particles are removed from the gasses being expelled through the endcap, prior to expulsion.

摘要: A method or process for treating wastewater containing high organics, silica, boron, hardness, and suspended and dissolved solids. The method includes degasifying the wastewater for the removal of dissolved gases and thereafter chemically softening the wastewater. After the chemical softening step, the wastewater is directed through a media filter or membrane which removes additional solids and precipitants. Thereafter the wastewater is directed through a sodium ion exchange that further softens the wastewater. The effluent from the ion exchange is directed through a cartridge filter and the effluent from the cartridge filter is directed through one or more reverse osmosis units. At a selected phase of the process, prior to the wastewater reaching the reverse osmosis unit or units, the pH of the wastewater is raised and maintained such that the pH of the wastewater reaching a reverse osmosis unit is at a pH greater than 10.5.

摘要: Technologies (e.g., devices, systems and methods) for sanitizing reservoirs of humidifiers are described. In some embodiments, the technologies include a sanitization gas system and a connector unit. The connector unit is configured to install into a portion (e.g., wall, bottom, top, or lid) of a reservoir, such as a reservoir of a humidifier. The connector unit includes an inlet passageway for supplying sanitizing gas (e.g., ozone) into the reservoir, and an outlet passageway for removing sanitizing gas from the reservoir. In some embodiments at least a portion of the outlet passageway is disposed radially around the inlet passageway. The sanitization gas system may provide a sanitizing gas to the inlet passageway and receive the sanitizing gas from the outlet passageway.

摘要: Laundry wash water recycle system comprising a repressurization pump in fluid communication with a storage tank containing previously used wash water for pumping the used wash water sequentially through a lint filter, a cyclone, and a multi-media filter disposed in sequential series wherein the self-cleaning lint filter in sequential series combination with the cyclone removes insoluble solids with the multi-media filter providing a final filtration for obtaining an output of pressurized double filtered cyclonically processed water. An advanced oxidation combination is introduced into pressurized double filtered cyclonically processed water and mixing occurs for producing a double filtered cyclonically processed advanced oxidation treated water that is communicated to a clean water storage tank for providing on demand delivery to at least one washer and continuous delivery of a feedback flow to the inlet storage tank for providing constant recirculation of treated water through the system.

摘要: A system and method for reducing pollutants in garbage leachate is disclosed. The system comprises multiple modules such as a screening module, a pH adjustment and mixing module, a separator module and a disinfection module operationally connected to each other. The screening module is configured to filter the leachate and the pH adjustment and mixing module is configured to adjust the pH of the filtered leachate to a predefined value. The leachate is mixed with a chemical or metal oxide composition, and the pollutants in the leachate are adsorbed by the chemical composition to provide a purified leachate. The separator module is configured to separate the adsorbed pollutant from the purified leachate. The disinfection module is configured to filter and disinfect the purified leachate to produce purified water. The method implemented using this system for reducing pollutants in a leachate is efficient and economical.

The reaction product may be used to form a sorbent that is used to purify water of contaminants such as biological matter, dyes, soluble metals, arsenic, or radioactive elements.
