    摘要: Compositions and methods relating to the use of sulfonylurea-mediated control of gene expression are provided. Compositions include sulfonylurea responsive chemical switches wherein the gene expression is regulated by a sulfonylurea compound. Compositions also include polynucleotides encoding the polypeptides as well as constructs, vectors, prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells, and eukaryotic organisms including plants and seeds comprising the polynucleotide, and/or produced by the methods. Also provided are methods to regulate expression of a polynucleotide of interest in a cell or organism, and methods to modify a genome, including in a plant or plant cell.

    摘要: Compositions and methods for modulating cell cycle and cell proliferation are provided. Additionally the compositions find use in enhancing disease resistance and increasing transformation efficiency in plants. The method involves transforming a plant with a sense or antisense prohibitin sequence. The prohibitin sequence acts to regulate cell division in the plant cell. Transformed plants, plant cells, tissues, and seed are also provided having enhanced disease resistance.

    摘要: The present invention provides compositions and methods for regulating expression of isolated nucleotide sequences in a plant. The compositions are novel nucleic acid sequences for callus-tissue and seed embryo-preferred regulatory sequences. Methods for expressing an isolated nucleotide sequence in a plant or callus tissue using the regulatory sequences are also provided. The methods comprise transforming a plant cell to contain an isolated nucleotide sequence operably linked to the regulatory sequences of the present invention and regenerating a stably transformed plant or callus tissue from the transformed plant cell.
