摘要： A process and apparatus for the on-site delivery of a gas having improved purity to from a container filled with liquid under pressure and integrated with a purifier. In the process a portion of the liquid is converted to vapor by reducing the pressure in the container and expanding the thus formed vapor through a pressure reducer generating refrigeration. The cooled vapor is warmed against incoming vapor prior to exit from the purifier.

摘要： Method for the purification of a volatile metal hydride comprising obtaining a volatile metal hydride feed containing one or more acidic impurities, one of which is a sulfur-containing impurity; contacting the feed with an alkaline material and reacting at least a portion of the sulfur-containing impurity with the alkaline material to remove a portion of the sulfur-containing impurity from the feed and provide an intermediate purified material, wherein the contacting of the feed with an alkaline material is effected at a sub-ambient temperature; and contacting the intermediate purified product with an adsorbent material to remove at least a portion of the sulfur-containing impurity from the intermediate purified material and provide a purified volatile metal hydride product.

摘要： System for the transportation and storage of a product which comprises a tank including cylindrical wall section and two ends, wherein the cylindrical wall section and two ends define a cylindrical tank periphery, and wherein the tank periphery has an interior and an exterior. The system utilizes a valve box that includes one or more side walls, a bottom wall, and a removable, sealable top cover which can be attached to the one or more side walls to seal the valve box, wherein the valve box side walls are sealably joined to the cylindrical wall. One or more process valves are disposed in the valve box, wherein each valve has a first and a second end, wherein each first end is connected to a pipe which passes through a wall of the valve box for introducing product into the tank or withdrawing product from the tank. A purge valve and pressure measurement means are installed in fluid communication with the valve box. The product in the tank is isolated from the atmosphere surrounding the tank when the valve box is sealed.

摘要： The process removes from a diluted gas one or more fluorine compounds present at a first concentration in the diluted gas and concentrates the fluorine compounds. This is done by directly contacting the diluted gas with a cryogenic liquid having a temperature less than or equal to about −150° F., thereby producing a vapor lean in the fluorine compounds and liquid enriched with the fluorine compounds at a second concentration. The second concentration is greater than the first concentration.

摘要： The process recovers NF3 from a multicomponent fluid containing NF3, one or more components less volatile than NF3, and one or more components more volatile than NF3. The process uses a first distillation column and a second distillation column, each distillation column having a top and a bottom. The process includes the following steps: feeding the multicomponent fluid to the first distillation column at a first feed location below the top of the first distillation column; feeding a cryogenic liquid to the first or second distillation column adjacent the top of the first or second distillation column; withdrawing a mixture containing NF3 from the first distillation column; feeding the mixture to the second distillation column at a second feed location; separating NF3 from the mixture in the second distillation column; and removing a stream of NF3 from the second distillation column.

摘要： The invention relates to a process and apparatus for delivering an ultra high purity fluid comprising at least one component to a point of use at a required pressure without mechanical pumping. In one embodiment, a high purity feed comprising at least one component in gaseous or liquid form is charged into a vessel and at least partially converted to a solid phase source. As the feed is converted to a solid phase source, additional feed may be added until the vessel is at least substantially filled with a solid phase source or slush. Once filled, the solid phase source or slush may be isochorically heated whereby the solid phase source is converted to a product at an elevated pressure.

摘要： A vessel for the storage and transportation of bulk volumes of a fluid is described herein and a method for using same. The vessel contains a plurality of dividers that apportion the internal volume into a number of sections. The dividers within the vessel aid in minimizing sloshing of the fluid contained therein during transport. In addition, the dividers optimize the fluid flow pattern thereby allowing for the continuous purge of the vessel without the need for the application of a partial or full vacuum.
