    摘要: Recombinant microorganisms having an improved ability to co-metabolize in medium both fructose and glucose are described. The recombinant microorganisms comprise a promoter operably linked to a native or non-native nucleotide sequence that encodes a fucose: H+ symporter polypeptide. The recombinant microorganisms are useful for the production of a variety of products including glycerol and glycerol derivatives such as 1,3-propanediol and 3-hydroxypropionic acid.
