摘要： A flame rectification type flame sensor circuit and method in which a generator injects periodic pulses of alternating voltage into a flame region, the voltage across the flame region being processed by a filter/amplifier which, in proper operation, produces a non-zero output signal only during the time a flame is present and a pulse of alternating voltage is being supplied by the generator. Final indication of a flame is produced only if a non-zero output signal occurs during the time a pulse of alternating voltage is being supplied, and not during the time between successive pulses of alternating voltage. Failure of an electrical component in the filter/amplifier is indicated if a non-zero output signal occurs during the time between successive pulses of alternating voltage.

摘要： An electronic control device utilizes a plurality of conductive areas on an associated printed wiring board to create integral dew sensors. The dew sensors are created by providing parallel conductive surfaces that are connected in turn by a resistor to a high impedance switch in the form of the gate of a field effect transistor. In the event that moisture vapor or dew is present in the control device, a conductive path is created that causes the control device to shut down in a safe or alternate mode from the normal mode of operation.

摘要： An energy saving thermostat adapted to be connected to a remote temperature conditioning apparatus for controlling the temperature of air in a space maintains a first temperature during a first time period and a second energy saving temperature during other time periods of the day. The thermostat has a visual indicating means so that when a manually settable switch is pushed, a time interval counter means is energized for indicating and storing a series of pulses each indicative of an hour of setback time into a storage means. The thermostat also has a review button for reviewing the stored time by pulsing the visual indicating means for the number of hours of the time period energy saving temperature.

摘要： A system for adjusting a bias voltage of a flame sensing system. The system may use pulse width modulation to adjust the bias voltage. The system may have a flame sensing rod that conveys an electrical equivalent circuit of a flame presence to a detector via low pass filter. An excitation voltage may be conveyed via a DC blocking mechanism to the sensing rod. A pulse width modulation signal may be conveyed via a bias resistor to a node of the low pass filter and the detector. The input of an A/D converter may be that of the detector for flame signals. Also, leakages between the node of the A/D converter connection and the voltage source and/or ground may be detected and compensated. Further, leakage of the DC blocking mechanism may be minimized.

摘要： A power supply usable with various size loads has an input circuit receiving pulses of voltage at 25 kilohertz. The pulses are modulated in width depending upon the input to a pulse-width modulation IC receiving inputs indicative of the output voltage and current delivered to the load. A backup current limiting circuit comprising a transistor which is biased by the voltage to the load, limits the signal to the pulse-width modulation IC to limit the width of the pulse to maintain the output current within limits.
