摘要： Improved low temperature properties of polyureaurethane are obtained, such as low glass transition temperatures and reduced bending moduli at -400.degree. C., by the use of relatively high moleuclar weight polyether polyol intermediates. The polyureaurethane is made by reacting the polyether polyol intermediate with a diisocyanate and subsequent cure with a metal halide salt complex of methylenedianiline.

摘要： This invention comprises a process whereby an amine functional compound having an equivalent weight of at least about 400 is reacted with an excess of a polyisocyanate to form an isocyanate-terminated prepolymer or quasi prepolymer, which polymer or quasi prepolymer is reacted with an isocyanate-reactive material which is preferably a relatively low equivalent weight polyol or mixture thereof with an additional amount of said amine functional compound or a relatively high equivalent weight polyol to form a polyurea containing polymer which is preferably non-cellular or microcellular.

摘要： A shampooing apparatus or device that is a portable, lightweight, and easily operated for providing automatic shampooing and/or conditioning. The apparatus comprises a body having a dispensing head and adapted to contain at least one but preferably two capsules one of which may contain a shampoo concentrate and the other a conditioner. The body receives these capsules and also receives liquid under pressure from a source of the liquid. In the two capsule version there are separate output ports that couple to a common entry port into a cylindrical cavity of the dispensing head. The dispensing head is of pulsating type including a rotor. In an alternate embodiment in place of the capsules are provided externally disposed containers for the conditioner and shampoo.

摘要： Tufted or woven article having a unitary backing is prepared by applying to the underside of a tufted or woven textile article, a polyurethane-forming composition comprising(A) a relatively high molecular weight polyether polyol;(B) a relatively low molecular weight polyol;(C) an organic polyisocyanate or polyisothiocyanate;(D) an inorganic filler component.The present invention describes a carpet comprising (I) a primary backing; (II) a yarn tufted or woven through said primary backing thereby creating a yarn bundle on the underside of the resultant tufted or woven textile article and (III) a polyurethane composition applied to the underside thereby encapsulating the yarn bundles and adhering the yarn bundles to the primary backing; said polyurethane composition comprising the catalyzed reaction product of the composition described above.

摘要： Polyurethane curable systems that contain an aminated glycerol as a catalyst to enhance the cure rate of the systems. The systems are based on polyoxyalkylene polyols that can be either polyether or polyester polyols. In addition, the polyols can be those that are provided by natural oils, such as soybean, corn oils, and the like. The polyols are typically dihydroxy functional, but can be tri- or quadra-functional or more. The systems are comprised of the reaction of such polyols with organic isocyanates, including the use of chain extenders from diols, or a mixture of triols and diols, such that the overall functionality of the mixture is generally less than 2.3. The organic isocyanates are also at least di-functional and can be tri- or greater functional, with regard to the isocyanate groups used on such molecules. The polyurethane systems can be, for example, elastomers, sealants, adhesives, or foamable systems.
