摘要： Carpet tiles and products include a structured backing layer having a plurality of holes arranged therethrough. The holes may be sized and arranged over the backing layer to impart the desired properties to the carpet product. For example, the holes preferably are sized and arranged to be effective to mitigate moisture from a flooring installation and/or to alleviate manufacturing tensions in the carpet tile. Methods of manufacturing such carpet tiles and products, as well as methods of using such tiles and products to mitigate moisture and/or alleviate manufacturing tensions, are also provided. In one aspect, carpet tiles include a structured backing layer and a face fabric associated with the structured backing layer. The structured backing layer may include a plurality of holes extending across a thickness of the structured backing layer. The holes may each extend from one surface of the structured backing layer to the opposite surface of the structured backing layer, thereby creating passages therethrough.

摘要： The present invention pertains to carpet and method of making it. In one aspect, the carpet includes (a) a primary backing which has a face and a back surface, (b) a plurality of fibers attached to the primary backing and extending from the face of the primary backing and exposed at the back surface of the primary backing, (c) an adhesive backing, (d) an optional secondary backing adjacent to the adhesive backing, and (e) at least one homogeneously branched linear ethylene polymer. The method includes extrusion coating at least one homogeneously branched linear ethylene polymer onto the back surface of a primary backing to provide an adhesive backing. The method can include additional steps or procedures, either separately or in various combinations. Additional steps and procedures include preheating the primary backing prior the extrusion step, multilayer adhesive backings, washing or scouring the primary backing prior the extrusion step, and utilizing adhesive polymeric additives, high heat content fillers, blowing agents and/or implosion agents. The constructions and methods described herein are particularly suited for making carpet tile.

摘要： A moisture-vapor-permeable and water-resistant fiber involves a layer of base fabric, a moisture-vapor-permeable layer, and a water absorption layer. The moisture vapor permeable layer is obtained by coating or laminating the inner side of the fabric with a moisture-vapor-permeable resin, which prohibits the penetration of the water droplets but allows the penetration of the moisture vapor molecules. The moisture absorption layer with intricate and colorful design is composed of binding resin blended with fiber powder and/or inorganic powder, and which is dot-coated or dot-printed onto the inner side of the moisture-vapor-permeable and water-resistant layer. The fiber powder or inorganic powder is highly hydrophilic and highly absorbent in its moisture absorption ability, which, when the clothes are fabricated, can prevent the penetration of raindrops but allows the transmission of the evaporated vapor of sweat through the fabric. Moreover, it is capable of absorbing plentiful amount of sweat.

The method includes the steps of providing a conductive cloth interwoven by natural fibers or artificial fibers and containing a metal layer, and forming at least one colored resin-coating layer on the metal layer of the conductive cloth by means of blade coating, wherein the surface of the resin-coating layer does not exceed the intersections of warp yarns and weft yarns of the conductive cloth. The conductive cloth of the present invention has the characteristics of colored appearance, artificial or environmental contamination resistance, and low surface resistance.
